Hello There. Just something funny. Some people in the last chapter were trying to guess who's family would be volunteering to care for you. Both guesses were things I actually considered before making my decision.

You silently followed the police officer, nervously fingering the bag in your hand. Upon reaching the front lobby, you watched as you were officially signed out of the hospital. The officer led you to a police cruiser, and opened the passenger door for you. You climbed in, muttering some thanks.

The officer started the engine, beginning the drive. You watched as the hospital behind you disappeared from sight.

"So, how do feel?" The officer asked you. You looked up.

"Pardon?"

"You're free. You're heading to a whole new family, and about to restart life. How do you feel?" You swallowed and looked out the door.

"Nervous. Probably a bit scared." You heard chuckling.

"Nobody's about to blame you." You slightly smiled at the statement.

"So, who's decided to take me in?"

"The Zvhal family."

"Zvhal?" The officer nodded.

"They used to live on a farm, if I remember correctly." You nodded, wondering why that random factoid was relevant. As you watched the trees speed by, you caught some glimpses of children playing. It would seem that school was already over.

Soon, the trees slowed down, and the officer parked the cruiser outside of a house. It didn't look too special, and you liked that. You unbuckled your seatbelt and got out of the car, hearing the officer do the same thing. You both approached the doorway, the two bags still in your arms, untouched except for when you changed clothes. The officer grabbed your shoulder, before knocking on the door. Some rustling was heard inside before a girl opened the door. She appeared to be a student, maybe a senior. Her hair..... it looked like it was on fire. Literally. She looked over at the officer, before her eyes flicked over to you for a moment.

"Hey Mom! It's the police." You heard rapid footsteps before a woman looking very much like her came to the door.

"Hello Ms. Zvhal." The officer greeted her.

"Hello! This is Y/n?" She asked. The officer patted your back.

"He sure is." You nervously put out a hand, smiling. Ms. Zvhal cheerfully shook it before stepping aside, letting you inside. You stepped inside, looking around. It was like many other uniform houses that one would find on this street. You could probably guess that it had the same basic layout of your old home.

"Thank you for bringing him over, we've got him from here." The officer nodded and waved to you. You lightly waved back as he turned around to leave. Ms. Zvhal shut the door behind him and turned to you.

"Well, how are you Y/n?" You shrugged.

"Good."

"That's great. Now...." She cupped her hands around her mouth.

"Laurence! Get over here!" There was the sound of rushing footsteps before a brunette boy walked into the room. His green eyes looked over to his mom, before looking over at you. Ms. Zvhal looked around for a moment, realizing the other person was behind her.

"Alright, let's get this straight. Keep introductions brief. I need to get Y/n to his room and you two have things to do." The boy nodded.

"Got it. I'm Laurence, and my sister is-"
