ROSES AND THORNS

Dear Diary....

"How are you my baby?How's school?"My mom asked.

"Uhm...okay..."I said
I didn't want anyone to know anything about what's going on my mind .

"Sweetie,I made your favourite".

My mom handed me a bowl of Mac and cheese with sausages.

"Uhm... honey,Is it okay if I go to work today....uhm...I...know....that this is suppose to be my day with you but...uhmm....can I just go for like one hour and come back please"My mom asked.

"Yeah yeah sure Mom,You take your time and come back safe😊"I said happily.

Okay baby,eat your lunch okay?I'll go get ready.

I was gulping down the food but my mind was elsewhere,I was thinking about Freddy and Mc kenzie.

"Oh god!will they go out?I hope not,They'd be so cute if they did,
Aghhh......please please please God Don't make that happen".

I know that I must be happy with someone else's happiness that's what Mom says but then Freddy is mine and what's mine is mine.

Unknowingly I was praying

"Red!!Is everything alright?"Mom asked.

"Oh shoot!Mom saw me,say something say something..."I said to myself

"Red!!!"She repeated.

"Ah..yes yes I'm fine mom,I was just praying before eating"I made up.

"That's good...you have generated good qualities love,I'm so proud of you,My Little girl is growing up"
My mom hugged me,grabbed the towel and headed upstairs.

I quickly finished my meal.

"Mom!!!!Is it okay if I go for a quick walk,I'll take the spare key,lock the door and go okay?"

"Walk alone only in the neighborhood and if you want to go far take Daniel with you"My mom yelled from inside.

After giving her a response I went up to take my diary and my pen.

"Red!!!"

"Yes Mom?"

"Take your Jacket and wear knee high boots,it's a bit called outside"

Okay Mom.

I walked past our lane to my usual tree near the river.

I layed down.

"Dear diary...."

I started inking the incidents that had happened to me during these past few days.

I couldn't even write in my diary for the past few days because I was hospitalized.

"Things went pretty well until today morning when I saw my prince charming Freddy kissing Mc kenzie
I hate him...I HATE HIM"Tears were rolling down my cheeks.

Even with tears in my eyes I didn't stop I kept on writing until I came on to the present.

"Hey Arrogant girl,Are you okay?"

I turned

"Oh hi Taylor,I didn't see you there
Well yes I'm fine"I wiped my tears.

"Why were you crying if everything is fine?"He asked.

"No!!No!!,That was because of the dust...The wind is not coorperating with me today,its brushing all the dust on to my eyes"

"uhm..Taylor..How did you find me hear?This is my secret place!

"Well I was here,you didn't see me,I was feeding the ducks"He said.

Oh okay..

"I think you should not be inhailing dusty wind,
You should be resting madam"
Taylor said.

I didn't want to go, so I said
"Now the wind is okay...can smell Fresh air"

"Sudden change huh, strange.."He slightly smiled.

I knew that I he noticed me lying so I looked away and gave that,
oh god!Look,to the ducks.

"Okay okay,now what's this....?he took my diary".

He just read the first page and smiled.

"You remind me of a little girl,
Writing diarys and drawing doodles"he said.

He was still smiling.

"I'm not a kid okay?I'm 16 and I'm big".

"Okay... okay...you are big but I'm 18 kiddo".

I don't care...you...you are mean

I had nothing left to say so I said those words that just came in to my mind and left home.
