Howl Of The Night

Rachel's POV,

We spent the night in the Huntfang territory. Ella, Candice and I did all we can to make Violet happy. . .

"Cannndiiiice." A lazy voice said.

"Wwwhhaaat." Said another.

"Waaakke up." And another.

"Where's Violet?" I said as struggled to get out of bed.

"You're right, she's not here." Ella said.

"She's not in here." Candice said walking out of the bathroom.

"Where did she go?" I said.

"The real question is when did she leave?" Ella and suddenly there was a howl.

The howl was a distress howl. Pain, sadness, and sorrow was pouring out in one howl. Not long another came along.

"Let's go." I said, and the others nodded their heads. We headed out the window.

Walking through trees and bushes, we followed the howl that would lead us V.

"We're close." I said.

"Why would she go off like this isn't not safe." Candice.

"She's going through a lot Candice, maybe she just needed to clear her head." Ella.

"Shhhhh." I hushed them.

"Why who are we distribing." Candice.

I rolled my eyes and pulled Candice up with me, I pointed to the wolf lying on the ground resting.

"Ooooo." She whispered.

"He probably followed her here. And I bet he's not the only one. Mostly there's at least six out her surrounding her, maybe even eight." Ella said.

"Well she is the alpha's mate." Said a voice non of us own. We turned around to see Camille walking out of the shadows.

"Can you not do that." Candice said.

"Oh sorry, did I scary scared?" Camille said.

"Yea kinda." Candice answered.

"Good. . .let's go." Camille said taking the lead.

Walking a little farther we spotted Violet lying down in a field. The moonlight made her red fur shine.

"Hey Violet." Camille said, and she looked back at us.

"What are you doing out here?" Ella said walking towards and by surprise Violet growled.

"Seems like she's more animal then human inside." Camille said. "Let me give you girls a hand.

We watched as Camille walked passed Ella and towards Violet. V did growl at her as she approached her, but in animal wise Violet wouldn't attack her because of her status and her scent favors Parker.

"It would be great if you were human." I hear Camille said. Me and the others went towards Violet.

Not long Violet's voice was heard. "Was I followed." She said.
