Chloe exhaled gladly as the three of them entranced Lucifer's penthouse and Trixie ran immediately over to Lucifer's big tv screen. At least the young one seemed to have forgotten about the man outside her window. Chloe put on a movie from Lucifer's watchlist which was halfway suitable for Trixie's age and returned to Lucifer who was casually leaning against the bar and sipping on some scotch.

"Want one?", Lucifer pointed at his scotch.

Chloe hesitated. She knew she would get all handsy and way too relaxed if she'd drink to much, but one the other hand she could really endure some alcohol after all the events that happened this evening. "Yeah, why not", the blonde smiled.

Lucifer filled a glass and gave it to Chloe who took a little swallow. "Funny isn't it? How it seems to become a habit for us to somehow spend our nights together?", the detective grinned slightly and looked up to Lucifer through her thick lashes. "You know, I could get used to it", after realizing what she had just said Chloe slammed her hand over her mouth. That damn alcohol. The combination of lack of sleep, alcohol, and her obviously still confused mind didn't do Chloe well. Why had she just said that? Did she even want to get used to spending more time with Lucifer apart from her job? Sure, Lucifer was fun and everything but in the long term they were too different, weren't they?

"Why, detective, what did you just say?", Lucifer throw her one of his smuggest grins as if he had won a price for being the best devil.

"Uhm.... nothin'. Just that we shouldn't get used to it because it won't happen more often", Chloe stammered and took another gulp of scotch. Probably not the best idea but right now it appeared to be the only way to somehow hide from Lucifer's gaze and calm her beating heart.

"Sure", the devil could't hide a smile and Chloe could clearly hear that he didn't believe her.

"Yeah, however," the blonde was searching for a chance of topic when she saw her daughter, "uhm do you have some sort of a blanket for Trixie? She fell asleep again", Chloe started smiling while talking about her daughter.

"Of course, do you want her to sleep in my bed?", Lucifer offered her a genuine smile.

"No, the couch will be fine for her, she's small enough to not roll off. And I think it would be a little bit too cramped for the tree of us", Chloe winked cheeky.

"So you're saying you're gonna sleep in my bed again?", Lucifer asked almost  hopefully. If he was honest he loved sleeping next to the blonde woman which was strange since he never especially liked sleeping next to someone.

"We managed it once so we're gonna be able to do it again. Howsoever, I think I'll need another scotch first", the detective grinned. Even though Lucifer tried to hide his delight about her sleeping arrangement she wasn't oblivious to it and it somehow fulfilled her heart. After filling Chloe's glass up the devil went to his closet to get the younger Decker a cozy blanket which he gave to her mother. Lucifer watched her with a certain admiration and felt a, up to now, unfamiliar feeling in his chest. On the one hand it frightened him but on the other hand it felt really nice, somehow domestic and warm and it obviously had to do with these two Deckers. When Trixie was tucked in correctly Chloe returned to Lucifer and took a sip of her scotch.

"So, since you refused to let me pack some things before leaving, I'm surmising you'll give me some clothes to sleep in?", the blonde hopped onto the bar-surface.

"Sure, is one of my shirts ok with you or do you want a nightgown one of the Brittneys had left here?", Lucifer made his way to his bedroom while talking.
