After I had finished crying I started feeling angry. All this time my "mother" had known who my real parent are and never said anything. She was meant to be their friend but she had treated their daughter, who they trusted her to take care of, like dirt. 16 years of not knowing my parents and my "mother" could have told me in less than an hour! She had no right to keep such important information from me and I was going to call her out on it!
I pulled away from Joseph and wipes my eyes before marching downstairs to see the woman who had "taken care" of me my whole life. "How dare you!" I screeched at her and she just looked shocked. "How dare you not tell me that you knew," I continued, "I have the right to know who my parents are you cow!"
"How?" She started but I cut her off.
" A letter Carol, " I stated coldly, "I found out from a piece of paper." I stared at her in disgust. "How dare you keep this information from me and how dare you call yourself my mother?" I questioned brutally.
"I raised you. " She responded.
"No Carol," I laughed humorlessly, "Chelsea raised me. You never did anything. She fed me, changed me, dressed me, taught me how to brush my teeth and do my hair and makeup. She ven taught me how to walk Carol. Hell, she even took me to school and she was only 3 years older than me. If it hadn't been for her I would have probably died of neglect." I looked her dead in the eye. "I can honestly say I feel no love towards you," I told her coldly, "The only thing I feel towards you is anger, disgust and hatred. I can honestly say I hate you Carol and I'm not staying here a day longer. Not with you..." And with that I left the room.
I ran upstairs and Joseph was laying on my bed looking confused. I grabbed my 2 black suitcases and packed all my belongings in them. "Avert your eyes." I told Joseph and changed into a pair of black skinny jeans, a baggy red vest top and a pair of red converse. "You can look now." I told him.
"What's going on Destiny?" He asked confused.
"We're leaving," I told him, "For good." He picked up my largest suitcase and nodded. I guess he must have heard me screaming at my mo... I mean Carol. We left the house and guess what, carol didn't even flinch. I guess she cared less than I origanally thought.
"Are you alright?" Joseph asked and wiped my cheek with his hand. It came away wet. I didn't even realize I was crying. I nodded shakily and we got in his car. I still didn't know where I would live but at least I have a good friend beside me and, hopefully, two caring parents waiting for me tonight. I would just have to go and find out...
