The crowd of smiles slowly diminishes as i see whats coming and think of Ali's gruesome body laying in that closet, bloody, shocked, cold.
a single tear falls down the side of my face.
"Hunter, you show great promise and as of today you are ranked second in the leaderboard right behind Brianna." The man says, "show us what you've got!"
I walk over to the man and grab a single knife. The blade is as sharp as a nail. i see the figures made of just wood but on the inside, it feels like i'm killing a human. I grab the knife and throw with full force.
Smack dab in the center of it's forehead and went straight through the board.
A large applause "congratulates" me as I sit back down. Murder shouldn't be met with applause.
"Thank you hunter. with skills like that you should be in first place." The man says.
A girl comes put behind the sliced wooden board with a knife in her shoulder.
My knife.
It's Kayla.
"Do you need a nurse Girl?" the man asks.
"No no, someone probably needs it more than me" says kayla in true abnegation spirit.
the man pulls out the knife and i see that its a clean cut. ,i cry.
Kayla passes out.
"Get me a nurse here STAT" the man exclaims.
A nurse comes about five minutes later and pronounces Kayla dead.
Sorry Kayla. Now i'm in first for rankings.
Nicky, Sophia and Colette are below the line by a few points I hope they make it.
As we practice targets i was excused for superior performance.
Brianna struggles with the knife and misses almost 100% of the time.
Nicky, sophia and Colette do extremely well and it's well enough to get all three of them out from under the line.
Not the same story for Brianna. Brianna winds up in 10th out of 10th place with everyone under nine getting sent to factionless next round, her odds dont look good.
