Mission Impossible.

Nightmares

I rapidly sit up, sweating. It's just another nightmare... I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom. The floor creaks with every step I take. I take a look in  the mirror. "Ahh..." I exhale, "I look a mess."  

I turn the shower on and wait for it to warm up. Meanwhile, I hear someone walking around. "It must be Hayley" I think to myself. My friends thought it was weird to live with a girl and just be friends. Can't a guy just live with his BEST friend? Im just scared of catching feelings... 

I strip off and jumping to shower, but I wince and yelp in pain. As soon as the water hit my back, it felt like hot knives against my back. "AHHHHHH" I scream. Hayley burst into the room. I don’t even care that she burst into the room when im naked. I don’t even care. But she stands dead in her tracks.  

"Tobey... your back..." She mouths. 

"Why are there scratches everywhere?" 

I freeze. Scratches? That explains why it hurt but HOW? 

"Here, get out and ill treat it" Hayley says. Shes so good like that. 

I quickly chuck some undies and shorts on and lie face down on my bed. Hayley finally comes in with a first aid kit and before I know it, shes all done. All that time we talk about how those scratches might have got there. "Ive been having a lot of nightmares lately, would that have something to do with it?" I say. "I mean, maybe?" But suddenly I start to bawl my eyes out. I don’t even know why? But im just crying on Hayleys shoulder. "Its okay Tobey, its okay..." Hayley says.                                                               "Im so confused..." I manage to say. "Why?" She asks but I just shrug my shoudlers.  "I reckon you should get some sleep and ill just lie beside for company, yah?" Hayley says. I smile, "yes please" 

Hayley is always telling me to eat but im never hungry. I have always been skinny but I... im getting skinnier and hayley is worrying. She needs to chill out I reckon. I wake up and Hayley is still by my side.. But shes as pale as a ghost. "Hayley, a-are you ok?" She just simply looks down and says "Yes, ill tell you later" Something happened. I know it.
