It was the annual get together with Suna and the Akatsuki. It was part if the deal. We would use them for missions, they would come to any of our festivities (they also wouldn't take the jinchurukis). Plain and simple. But this year was different. I didn't know how, but I just knew.

"Hey Raven! what's the look for?" Naruto, one of my many friends asked.

"Huh? Oh! nothing's wrong silly! I'm just thinking about how much fun the get together is going to be!!" I told him.

"Oh... I see," He said while waggling his eyebrows, "is it because Deidara will be here?" I could feel the deep blush rising.

"Sh-shut up!!! I yelled.

"It totally is because of him. You might wanna go get ready. It's 5 already so there is only 2 hours till the Akatsuki get here."

"Oh shiz! you're right!! I gotta go bye Naruto!!!" I said as I ran home.

At home:

I decided to just wear my regular clothes, black punk ripped jeans and t-shirt and my black sneakers. I got into the shower and did all the crap I had to do. When I got out of the shower I looked at the clock.

"WHAT?! 6:30 ALREADY?!" I screamed as I sprinted to my room to get dressed.

Once I got dressed and brushed my hair and teeth, it was 6:55.

"Perfect timing! Oh! I have to go meet the Akatsuki and Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro at the front gate!" I went outside, locked my door, and dashed for the gate with Yami by my side.

*at the gate*

When I got there I could see all 12 people coming over the hill. when they got a little closer I could see that Deidara's face brightened up and after he waved at me he started running to envelope me in one of his bear hugs.

"Raven!!!" he said as he picked me up and spun me around.

'Dang it blush! go away!!' I thought as I tried to stop the heat from rising.

"Hey Dei!" I replied as he set me down. By that time everyone else was at the gate so I went around and gave everyone else a hug.

"Well let's go!! Everyone's going to be so happy you're here!" I told them as we started walking to the Hokage tower.

We were an hour into the get together when some suggested we play truth or dare.

'Great. That's awesome.' I thought as I went to sit down next to Naruto and Konan.

The game went on for a while and no one had picked me or Deidara. The game was going great until...

"I will go!" Konan said with a creepy smile on her face. She looked at Deidara then at me.

'Oh Kami no. I knew I should have never told her about me liking him!!' I was getting scared.

"Deidara. truth. or dare?" She asked.

"Dare, un." He told her. I could tell he was getting nervous.

"I dare you, to.... hm. Oh! I dare you to kiss your crush."

"That's ea-"

"On the lips." Konan interrupted.

'Oh. Shiz. This is either going to be really good or really bad.' i thought.

"Alright then, yeah. Here goes nothing." He said as he stood up.

He's walking towards me.

'Shiz. Shiz. SHIZ WHAT WHY IS HE WALKING OVER HE-' My thoughts were untrue putted by a pair of lips on mine. Deidara's lips.

I was shocked and I could tell he was disappointed but before he could pull away I came to my senses and kissed back. It was perfect. Everything I imagined it would be. But it was cut short by all the cat calls.

"F*uck off, un." Deidara growled. Then he whispered, "we will continue this later."

It was after the party and the Akatsuki were going to stay the night here so guess who stayed at my house. that's right. Deidara did.

"I need to ask you something," I told him. "What happened earlier. Are we... like a thing now or-" I was again cut off by Deidara kissing me.

"I believe the term is boyfriend and girlfriend." He told me once he pulled away.

"Now let's not get ahead of ourselves. You never asked me to be your girlfriend." I said to him with a cheeky smile.

"You're a piece of work Raven, you know that. Well Raven Black, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" he asked me as he looked into my eyes.

"Hmmm. I don't know Deidara.... should i?" I said with a grin. "Of course I will dummy!!" he looked like he had just one the lottery or something. We then shared a kiss to seal our love.
