Unlovable

Rally race

Pulling up to the arena  Emmett gets out and shows the security guard my pass and we get into the rally course backspace and get out to change into my ANGEL attire Which Emmett snuck into the front seat.
Angel's look is long curly hair with deep blue eyeshadow and a long  white top and pale grey leggings and a pair of trainers.
My car had the team sorting the update.
"Hey Beth how's things?" I greet the tallest female.
"Angel there you are. It's been a whole year too long where have you been?" She bombards me before I can answer she asks " who's the hottie you brought with you?"
"My Date he's a fan but my ex's brother and hell yes he's hot!" I exclaim hopping that she wasn't going to tease me.
" Ooh an ex's brother and he's seriously hot! Angels got a date"  she teases me and I reply with an obvious sigh and Emmett walks over smiling at me.
"Hey Angel the race starts soon can I ride with you?" Emmett asks like a kid in a sweet factory, Beth starts laughing and then walks off.
"What's she laughing at?" Emmett asks sidetracked.
"Inside joke, yes you can be my  front seat help but I warm you Angel isn't a nickname!" I tell him as he screeches in my ear. Beth walks back over to tell me, "The introduction of the races is in three Angel."
"Thanks Beth and can you get Emmett a headset please." I reply,
"Sure Angel!" Beth exclaims and comes back handing the headset to Emmett.
The loud speakers ping and the arena falls silent.
" Tonight's the championship final and the Return of Angel and her Wings means the challengers have a lot to live up to in order to win the final here's a few words from the champion for around 6 years from the one and only ANGELS WINGS team, ANGEL!"
"Hello all my angels are you having fun tonight? Good because the other day a friend of mine said that I'll never beat the champion of ultimate rallying, she's going to eat her words isn't she. I've got the only person who knows my secret identity with me tonight let's all say hi to Emmett. The race tonight is going to be awesome so you all have fun and I'll see you after the race. Anyone's free to challenge me tonight's the one night I race so have fun."
My speech receives a chorus of applause and we climb into my wings (my car).
"Ready to eat your words Emmett?" I chuckle starting the engine and watching the start lights.

The end of the race
The opposite teams driver pulls slightly ahead and in the last straight I put my foot down and it's a clear finish.
"And the winner by a pair of wings and the  champion for 7 years straight, the one and only ANGEL!" The speaker calls and I go to collect the prize and give a 10,000 to the second place winners.
After all the regulations me and Emmett drive off to pick up Alice and Jasper.
After 20 minutes of driving I pull up to the house and get out.
Walking up to my room I dress in my pjamas before letting Emmett in to say goodnight and I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
