*Dylan's POV*

High school. The place where dreams go to die. With my friends by my side, together we take a deep breath and enter the school we have known since the K5. Never in my life would I have ever thought Delilah and Paisley would be walking with Aiden and I into our first day of ninth grade. Truthfully, it was a dream come true. Delilah and I spent the whole summer together, she is my best friend. My feelings for her are still strong, maybe stronger. Ihave decided since it's been five years now and she still hasn't shown a change of heart by confessing her love and whatnot. I have to get over her. It will be hard, but it's for the better. (I hope)

*Delilah's POV*

Before entering the school I stop and take a deep breath, Dylan a few steps ahead of me pauses also. His face wore an expression saying he was either confused or thinking. I wonder what he was thinking. Bringing us both back to the bittersweet reality we heard Aiden shout, "DYLAN!! DELILAH!! Long time no see, eh?"

"Um, Aiden? It was yesterday when we last saw you. Less than 24 hours ago. Remember?" Dylan grumbled. I kept thinking that something or someone was missing. The question was who or what? Then realization hit me. It was Paisley!! Where's Paisley? I heard her before I saw her. "DEEEELLLLIIIILLLLAAAAHHHH!!!" She squealed before tackling me to the ground in a hug. I saw Dylan and AIden exchange questioning looks, trying to hold in their laughter. Yeah, go ahead and laugh now, but just wait until it's their turn. Paisley got off me and tackled Aiden. Poor Aiden. Dylan watched in pure amusement as Paisley sqealed and Aiden squirmed. We both awkwardly looked away as Paisley crashed her lips onto Aiden's. Way to go Paisley.. You just made things incredibly awkward.

Dylan stood over me, offering me his hand. I gladly took it and he pulled me up. I ended up really close to him. Uncomfortably close. We stayed like that for a good thirty seconds, while Aiden and Paisley fixed their hair and clothes. Aiden noticed us standing incredibly close and said, "Either kiss or come on you two." Our cheeks both turned a bright red as we followed Aiden and Paisley towards the school.

The four of us all headed into the school side by side with our heads held high. A couple years ago, it would of never of been like this. Normally,Paisley and I enther the school avoiding Dylan and Aiden at all cost or were being chased by them. Either way, I'm glad that things have changed. The four of us together, fought through the crowd of squealing girls that acted as if they haven't seen each other in five years rather than two months. When we finally reached the gym, a couple teachers handed us our schedules. I had 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th with paisley. 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 9th with Aiden, and 4th, 5th, and 6th with Dylan. I was happy I some classes with my friends. Before I knew it Paisley was dragging Aiden and I both by the hand towards our first period, algebra.

*Dylan's POV*

I watched as Paisley dragged Aiden and Delilah towards math. I frowned to myself wishing I was in their first period. I headed to my own first period, biology. Biology bores me to tears, the teacher doesn't particularly like me. Mainly because of my ability to ask questions on every little detail and usually prove the teacher wrong. This is going to be a long year. I pulled out my notebook pretending to take notes, but really I didn't care much for what was going on around me. I began to sketch in my new notebook. I tuned out the world, I wasn't even paying attention to what I was drawing in my notebook. Before I knew it the bell was ringing, dissmissing us to our next class. I glanced down at my notebook and almost choked in disbelief. I was shocked about what I drew. I drew what look liked Delilah and Aiden.... kissing. Anger pulsed through me,and  jealously controlled me. There is something seriously wrong with me. I was getting jealous over a drawing that I drew.. On top of that, Delilah and Dylan would never happen. Would it? I hope not. AIden wouldn't do that to me, he knows exactly how I feel about Delilah. Delilah isn't the type of girl that would fall for Aiden's endless tricks. She's smarter than that.
