School Work (P.P)

You were at P.E classes, doing all the exercises that teacher told the students to do when Flash came with his friends.

" So, Y/N, how much do I owe you for last night? Not much, right? It wasn't as good as other nights. " He said, getting money out of his wallet.

Everybody was starring at you, including Peter. He thought about defending you, but you both weren't so close, and he thought you would think he can't mind his own business. Flash was practically rubbing the money on your face, so you took it.

" Hey! "

" I'll take that. " You put it in your pocket and started to do exercises again.

Peter laughed, making you look at him with a little smile.

" What are you laughing at, Parker?!"

He blushed and returned to his push ups, which he was pretty good at.

You didn't know where the talk started. One day, you were everybody's friend, and the other, you were a bitch. It didn't affect in anything about you, you kept your real friends and ignored other people's comments. That was what you used to say to people that asked you. You felt that way, but sometimes you felt hurt, you couldn't say that you didn't, you just didn't use to show it to people.

In english class, the teacher started saying that you would have to do a project about anyone who was important for the humanity, somehow.

" So, the pairs will be... Michelle and Erica, Ned and Jane, Flash and Chris, Peter and Y/N... "

When you heard your name, you turned to Peter. He looked at you and smiled, as you did the same. When the bell rang he went towards you when you were putting your things in your bag.

" So... Do you wanna go somewhere like, Delmar's, now so we can talk about it? "

" Sorry, about what? "

" The project. "

" Oh, right. Hum... Yeah, I'll just call my dad and we can go. " You said, trying to don't look embarresed.

You had like a crush on Peter for a while, but you never told anyone. Not that you were ashamed of it, but since the talk about you started, you felt like you had to act different and tough. After you told your father you were gonna go to Delmar's to do school's job, you walked close to Peter all the way over there. Any of you talked anything until the middle of the way.

" So... This is awkward. " You said.

" What? "

" Us... Walking without saying nothing. "

He smiled.

" Yeah... "

You were a little worried, thinking if he was acting like that because of what people said about you.

" What do you do when you're not in school? " He asked.

" Not much... I read some books, watch movies, create some stuff with my dad, hang out with my friends from the building I live... "

He nodded.

" You? "

He seemed pretty nervous about this simple question.

" Uh- Y-you know, like... Nothing impressive. "

You smiled a little bit. You guys were in silence for a while, again, when he asked something that looked like he was wanting to ask for a while.

" How do you act the way you do with all the things that people tell about you? "

You got a little unconfortable and he probably noticed, because he started to talk more.
