 Peter's POV

I walked in Delmar's.

" What's up Mr. Delmar! "

I took gummy bears and put it on the counter.

" Hey, Mr. Parker! Number five, right? "

" Yeah, and hum... with pickles and could you smoosh it down real flat? Thanks! "

" Got it, boss! " The man said and went to the kitchen.

Delmar looked at me with a smirk and asked how May was. I crossed my arms, knowing what was already coming and pretended I was checking on something.

 " Yeah, she's alright. "

He turned to the man that I talked earlier.

" La tía de él es una italiana bellísima! " (I don't think that that's how he says in the film, but whatever)

I thought it would be a good time for me to practice my spanish now.

" Como esta su hija, huh? " I said with a smirk and put my tongue out, teasing him a little.

"  Estoy muy bien, gracias. (I'm very good, thanks) " I heard a voice saying behind me. When I turned, I saw Y/N standing there. How didn't I see her there earlier?! I blushed a bit and smiled to her. She laughed at my embarrassment.

 I turned to Delmar again.

" Ten dollars. " He said.

" It's five dollars. " Y/N said, approaching her dad.

" For that comment, ten dollars. "

 " Hey, come on, I'm joking! I'm joking! "

He looked at me kinda mad. I smiled.

" Okay. " I gave him ten dollars and Y/N took it from his hand and returned it to me.

 " I said it's five dollars. " She said.

She went to the kitchen and I walked to Murphy.

" What's up, Murph? " I petted him until she appeared next to me and gave me my sandwish.

 " Have a nice day, Parker. "

 I smiled.

 " You too. "

I ran out of the store and went to an alley to change. I was hoping I would have things to do, because since Mr. Stark gave a suit for Spider-Girl,she was fighting all the good crimes and I was left with someone stealing a bike or something. I left my backpack in the wall and went to the roof. It was a long day. I did some stuff and at the end of the day, I was talking to Happy and talking about the things I had done.

" And I helped an old lady. She was very nice and bought me a churro. "

" A churro? What did you help her with? "

 I swallowed thickly.

" I helped her cross the street. Anyway, I feel like I could be doing more, you know? Doesn't Mr. Stark need me with a mission or something? "

" Look, why don't you leave this kind of things to Spider-Girl? You can keep helping the old people in New York. "

 " But, Happy I-- "

" Oops, I gotta go, Tony needs me. Bye kid, stay out of trouble. "

I huffed and watched the cars moving on the street. That girl would end ruining my reputation with Mr. Stark and all New York. I tried so hard to be better than her, but she's always faster than me.
