It’s amazing how our brains could possibly attached to certain smells. How it could affect your mood when your nose touched with those excact scent. The air of the summer, the crisp of the autumn night or the earthy of the air after the rain. Sometimes I wonder how all those heart warming memories could be juggling up in front of your eyes in that instant, like when you smell the fresh scent of coffee in the morning would remind you about your favorite every morning pancakes that your mom always served when you were a little.

And that was excatly happen in me right now. The first thing when I woke up, I open my eyes and suddenly all the memories in my life keep coming back like a series of the express train smack in to your head. Really..and that not something that you gladly await you when you had a massive headache in the morning.

Plus, when those memories triggered by certain smell that at the very least expected. The unpleaseant one, not the kind of heartwarming- homey feeling. Those memories that you tried so hard to hide it behind your thick skull and hope that someday, maybe someday that memories would be just a fraction of your imagination or your nightmares not some horrifiying reminder that constantly came back to life like  waves in the ocean swung it back and forth and slap me in the face, like it tried to mock me.

That how pathetic my life is.

Those smell keep lingering wherever I go and it was like it sticked on my nose like a permanent-marker. It seems I couldn’t get rid of it no matter how much I washed and scrubbed my nose until it bleed, red.

That exactly the same when I tried to ‘sterilized’ my room after the havoc last night. It was like near apocalypse moment when I tried to rub and scrub and scrub with any possible tools and hygine liquids that contains different active agents that it could be enough to turn my room into the whole hospital building with those unfriendly scent, disinfectant. And I’m not a hospital fan, yeah who does but at least it much better than those horrible horse-stall, wild animal scents.

After almost three hours of cleans your room project finally done, I helplessly almost couldn’t move an inch of my muscles. That was a huge deal when you do it in your worst state, with a headache that didn’t go away because my lack of sleep, I skipped my breakfast time and do the floor, the wall, the window frame, the glasses and all the things that attached to him with all ragging fire inside me like a volcano. And when it was done, my body was all sweat and I collapsed in my bedroom floor like a friggin’ dying goldfish.

And that’s when I heard someone pull my door knob and burst into my room with full speed force.

“Maddie,,hey...” Sam almost high pitched screamed hang on the air when her nose, I assume recognized the strong stench smell that come out from my room when she open the door. Her high spirited mood instantly deflated and her expression turn became a cute ogre when she wringled her nose, the almost chocked face.
