PART 14

I felt like I was walking in a haze. It’s foggy, it was like you half awake, my soul just wandering around through maze after maze after maze. Didn’t know what to find, didn’t know what to do didn’t know what I tried to escape from. But this feel in my gut told me to stay awake, stay alert and whatever happen between the motion I have been through from this moment made me even dip into more and more darkness than ever.

After I put my puked stain dress into the washing machine and decided to left the rest in there. I tidied my bedroom and showered in autopilot. I just didn’t dare to think about what we’d gone through today.

Which Sam’s left me to this point, in this sidewalk. Stood awkwardly outside a laundry shop, waiting Sam who presisted to put her delicate- my own puke contamined- gorgeous lingerie here, hoping that they will take a good care of her precious for her precious moment that which she admited would be happen very, very soon.

But not that very graphic image that popped out from her mouth that made me itch, nor this sun light that stroked my back that make my sweaty and either this panty I wore that eat up my butt. This was the image that kept my gear in my head running, running without direction, running around and round from my latest dream, which somehow I felt so guilty about to the event that misterious man who always popped in my head hence in my not so boring life to Ethan that tugged my curiousity why would he stood in front of cafe’ instead being a good student planed his future in his college which placed in hundred miles away from here and to James that still being MIA from us.

What made me itch the most was that smile that etched in Sam’s face from the moment I saw her getting outside the shop and sauntered at me.

“One mission complete, another to go. Are you ready??” She brush both of her hands from imaginary dust and still put her big doeyed eyes in her biggest grinned face.

Her grin not flatter even when I was sure she heard me gulp and grimace that rose onto my face. I put my best faked smile to her and I bet I look more like joker to her.

“Ey...milkshake first??” My smile twitched into scowl.

Sam just shrugged, “As long as you pay..I’m in”

Of course, as long as I could made her stay away from the place that she insisted to go much longer better. I grabbed her shoulder and made our way to the opposite direction from the place we intended to go, no- not we, she intended to go. Police station. I called a cab and we get in fast and almost made Sam’s head hit the door, I didn’t care even when she cried in pain and protested why we took a cab over a milkshake. I’d do whatever it takes to prolong time even if that made my wallet thinier every tick of secon.

I’m not ready yet to face a uniform people even for a diffrerent reason. To make a lost report and then for replace my ID. Because I’m not sure what will happen once I was out from police station. If you already think that how stupid I sound and how freaked out I’d become only to get a new ID. Well I hate to break this up to you because how could I forget every single words he said to me that made me to look over my back everytime I do something right.

Yes, those wordswhat creppy man said that he’ll always be in my bubble everytime I turn. So tell me is it wrong if I let some creepy man kept nagging my butt like zits?

And think that why I didn’t do some action like actually asked the police for protection or shout out loud to the people all around you, so that maybe when he came threatened you again, at least people would know, and maybe this time you’d get so much inforcement that would join along with you.
