The Mermaid & The Shark

~Chapter 2~

LUCY'S P.O.V

I woke up feeling ready for what was to come. I got up took a little chunk of my hair and put it in a mini ponytail to the side. I put on my light blue bow. I changed my sleep bra to my other white shell bra. I went to go find Yukino. I found her with my guard Asuna. "Are you sure you want to go with this Lucy?" Asuna asked.

"Yes I've waited forever for this." I brought a little blue backpack with my diary in it and some food. "Let's go before my mom hears us." We swam to outside through the kingdom.. Luckily none of the guards were out so they didn't see us. We made to the magic barrier that protected that concealed us from the outside world. I was ready. Even if last time I was here I got my key scar, I'll do it. I want to know what's out there.

"Lucy," Yukino said ", I'll let you out first with the sea crystal. When you get out there pass it back to us. Got it?" I nodded. "Alright," She handed me the crystal. ", I can't believe I'm doing this. Go sis, this is what you wanted." She's right. I used the crystal and swan quickly to the outside world.

It was amazing. But I felt spicy. My mouth felt spicy. I coughed a bit. "Water out there is different from here Lucy. Since this is your first time it will feel weird. That's what happened when my mom took my outside for the first time." I pointed to my tongue that was burning. They both just laughed.

I saw both of there faces went blank. "L-L-Lucy, don't move a muscle."

"Why?" I asked.

"Just don't move or look back." Asuna said. Of coarse I looked back and saw a huge what we call a "shark" not The Sharks the animal shark.

I freaked out and swam away as fast I could. I could feel Asuna and my sis freaking out. I could feel the pressure of the shark swimming. I saw the new world. I saw coral and more. I never looked back. I swam as long as I could ever. I kept on swimming no mater what. I saw a cave in the distance with a space I could only go through. I went through it and heard the sound of the shark crashing into the rocks.

My heart was racing. I hope that Asuna or Yukino made a excuse so I won't get in trouble. I all could do is wait until the shark went away. It opened it's mouth and I saw blood on it's jaws. I heard something. I looked behind me and saw a fish that was yellow with blue stripes and fins. I swam towards it. It backed away.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you. I'm Lucy. Let's be friends." I smiled at it. It came closer.

"I'm Flounder." THIS FISH CAN TALK!

"You just talked... how?" I asked.

"Well you must be from Mariana if you didn't know sea animals out here. Anyways, everyone outside Mariana can talk. You are the first mermaid I saw since forever." He said.

"That explains a lot I guess. Well how I'm the first mermaid you've seen a while is because we never left from our safety of our kingdom. This isn't my first time out here. When I was like a month old I was taken out here but I was only out for a couple seconds. But before I got pulled in I saw what I think was a merman with a fin on his back." I saw Flounders face go to interest to frightened.

"That was A Shark. Not the animal the other kind of sharks." All of the sudden the shark started banging on the rock. "NO! We are going to die." I was right there are no more ways to escape but the way the shark was blocking. "It was nice meeting you while it lasted."

I yelled "HELP!!" At the top of my lungs. The shark was about to attack us.

"GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE PUNK!" I heard a voice say as the thing hit the shark. I opened my eyes and peaked out the corner of the cave. The thing fighting him was A Shark. they went back and forth. When they were done the shark looked at me. He had salmon colored hair. Dark onyx eyes. And a necklace of a scale of a sky blue mermaid tail.

I hugged Flounder close to me.

It was him. The guy I saw all those years ago. It's him

I found him.
