Hot water runs down her back and she sighs in relief.
Her muscles unclenching as the water hits her shoulders.
Being out all day took a toll on her body, so the shower feels much better than usual.
Long arms wrap lovingly around her waist, and she is pulled back in a soft chest.
He hugs her tighter and rocks slightly as he hums a small toon.
Sighing quietly, she leans her head back onto his shoulder.
He looks down and admired her body silently.
Her eyes screw shut in bliss as pure tranquility and happiness fill her body.
This is it.
This is what makes her happy.
Just feeling the love of her partner.
Her heart flutters when she thinks about how much she truly does love him.
He lets go of her and she turns around to face him.
Her eyes open and she looks up at him.
Her eyelashes kiss her cheeks as heavy water droplets weigh them down slightly.
He places both of his hands on the sides of her head, and he tilts her head down some.
He walks closer and as she stays looking down,
He kisses the top of her head tenderly.
"I love you."
His words holding more truth than she's ever heard before.
And she smiles back gently, tilting her head up. But the water droplets on her eyelashes turn to tears.
"But Do you really?"
