Evan Scott and Aaron Scott in media above respectively.
It didn't take long before it was lunch time. I had spent the rest of my class sessions in the nurse's office resting and fortunately got something for my headache.
I entered the cafeteria where I then made my way over towards the table where my friends, and most of the football team and cheerleaders sat. It was located over towards the far left of the room, after passing through the obstacles laid out before it.
"Look who's finally here! The king, himself!" Jake cheered as he stood up dramatically and made way for me to sit.
"At least you have your facts straight." I commented as I took a seat in the middle, facing towards the entrance, where I could see everything that took place around me.
"Way to go man! I heard from Michael that you won another bet." Evan commended while patting my back.
"You forgot the part where Jake's ego takes a major blow." Aaron snickered, earning him being flipped off.
Aaron and Evan were identical twins, but their personalities were polar opposites. Evan was caring towards everyone, it didn't matter who it was. He'd always take the other person into consideration and kept a positive perspective of things. While his brother Aaron was a born asshole, and a major prankster.
"I wouldn't call that a challenge." I said smugly, and proceeded to explained further, "More like a warm up."
Michael nodded in agreement, "That's what you get when you challenge 'The Great Stephan Hart'. King of West Lake Academy."
Jake scoffed, "Whatever. Besides, he still has another one coming his way."
"What are you talking about?" Aaron asked confused, urging Jake to explain.
"Hart" I heard Asher's voice called.
Aaron quickly dropped the question and went ahead to pester Asher instead. They greeted each other with what looked like a high five which then ended in a manly hug."Heard you were at the party last night!" He started.
"You should've at least greeted the host." He whined.
"By the time I got there, you were already passed out." He informed, "What's the sense of partying with someone who can't hold their liquor."
Everyone laughed, while a few others snickered 'lightweight'.
Aaron's face flushed bright red in embarrassment. Unable to deny what was said.
Asher looked over towards me and gestured using his head for me to follow him. I got up and followed pursuit.
"Aren't you going to stay for lunch? Where are you guys heading?" Aaron called out as he realized we were leaving.
When we didn't give him an answer he spoke again, "What are you guys, gay for each other now?" He threw.
I rolled my eyes and flipped him off, while continuing to follow behind Asher.
He lead us outside where small tables and seats that were mended together, creating a round table seating area.
A bunch of other students were already out here cramming for a test that would be issued later, eating, chatting with friends, or just simply existing.
We sat down at an empty seat nearby. He remained quiet for a couple of minutes while looking around him every now and again. I leaned against the table feeling impatient with the unbearable silence between us.
