Dedicated to : my dearly one. Thanks for staying, despite all my quirks and weird things. Love you really much. X.

P. S. : the song is just an additional. Not so necessary to hear it and completely unrelated to the fiction.

If you think I'm the so-called 'shining' main character, you're wrong.

I'm the super-average, totally boring female main character. Not a popular, mean girl. Nor a nerd with big glasses. Nor a delinquent, rebel girl.

I'm totally average. The typical girl that you'll see as a cameo in a romance or drama stories. I'm there just to exist. No other reason.

But as human, things are different when something occured. So, of course things are different when I fell.

Metaphorically? Of course, dear readers. What's the point to write if I fell literally? You all will laugh your asses off and I'll be ashamed until the day my soul is reaped.

Who's that (un)lucky one? Oh! It's a secret, dear readers. But let's make a name for him! Let's name him Teal.

Why Teal? Why not just Green? Or Emerald?

That's because I like teal color. And even though emerald is pretty and his birthstone, I prefer teal.

Okay! Enough with the chit-chat. Jump into the story.

We started as stranger, of course. I do know him. His existence, his face, his name. Not that I'm a stalker. A friend of mine told me stories about him. So I know his name from there. And how do I know his face? I don't know. It's all instinct-based. Like, I saw his face and "Oooh, so that's Teal!"

Yeah, that absurd. I'm sorry for the absurdness. But this is just the start. Things will become even more absurd.

But he used to not knowing me. Even though I know him

How did he know my existence, then? We were in the same club. But we don't talk to each other. We actually started to know each other from a friend (rather friends, though). Again.

It's quite a long story, if you want me to go on detail. Please forgive me, but let's just rush on how I fell for him.

I ... don't know.

Yes, I don't know. Please don't give me that look. I really don't have a single idea how could I fall for him, which still happen until now and (hopefully) tomorrow.

I just really like him. Really much, that it makes my expectation kinda raise up. Not for long though, because I always try to keep it low.

What's special in Teal? Nothing.

He's also just an average male. Oh well, not average. A big ol' nerd. A computer nerd. Don't study a lot. Hates school with all his heart and soul. Loves and cherishes his dear game more than anything else. Binge on his anime series all the time. A big fan of a bizarre anime that most people can't stand. Oversleep all the time. A fanatic of superheroes movies.

These haven't cover for all his quirks. It'll take more than 100,000 words for me to describe his quirks.

But in other words, to me, he's as interesting as those famous cool boys in school.

Yup, I have quite the taste. Thank you.

He's really nice. I'm not talking about an average nice, with people smiling all time and greet other people with over-friendly smile. Hell, no. He's too an introverted for that.

Teal is the kind of person you'd like to talk with about your problems. He's all ears and willing to give you a good advice.

Teal will help you in urgent situations. Even if he's not there, he'll try to help you by easing your anxieties and bad thoughts.

Teal is a pretty observant person. And he's pretty attentive.

Teal will be there when I'm down. He soothes me with his words and it makes me sure that everything will be fine.

It's just a bad day, not a bad life.

Please don't say that.

You're worth it. Trust me.

And based on what his friends told me, he's loyal to his significant other.

Making me so lucky to actually have him.

Currently, he's one of few people in my life that I really cherish. I don't favor people much, but I know he's my favorite person at the moment.

Conclusion : though sometimes he kinda gets on my nerves and have so much flaws, I'll still love him. No matter what.

"I'm writing something for you," I tell my partner via call.

"Oh, really? Am I the main character?" He asks excitedly.

"Of course not," I reply with my sassy tone.

"WHAAAAAT? Tch,"

I laugh. I definitely can imagine his salty face.

You're not the main character. But you're the focus of the story.
