Please just let me have one day to myself where no one harasses me, I think to myself. "Get out of here you fag" one girl spits at me like venom from her mouth, as I continue through the school being bombarded by insults "Loser", "Four eyes" and all the rest. This happens to be a normal day for me at school, I wait by my locker, eager for someone to talk to but twenty minutes goes by and no one comes close to wanting to talk with me. I wish that i could have just waited that little bit longer, but the bell signalling that first period was about to start chimed and the stampede of students rushed through the narrow corridor. I attempt to make my way through the crowd but i get knocked down and kicked around on the floor like an empty can, like I'm nothing. I try to scramble onto my feet but I just keep getting kicked down every time. I feel a familiar pair of hands grab me my my arm, I look up and glance at the somewhat familiar features of who I think is my friend, well my only friend Jasmine. "You're gonna want this" she says with a chuckle, dangling my trampled rucksack from her long delicate fingers. "Thank you" I reply with a merciful look in my eyes, I attempt to draw her in for a hug but she turns away and flicks me a very sorrowful look, I scan her up and down for some hint on what could be troubling her. She sighs, "Look I'm sorry.." she starts off "I honestly can't be seen with you anymore, i'm sorry" she says to me and then turns away from me so she doesn't have to see the hurt and tears well up in my eyes.
