Kyo was looking at Tohru again.
He couldn’t help it. Who wouldn’t fall for that kind smile and loving, caring nature…?
It’s almost as if she was an angel sent from God himself. If Kyo believed in God, that was probably what he would have thought but he stopped believing years ago when he realized how lonely he was. If no one else would be there for him, why would God be there?
"Kyo is something wrong?" a sweet voice snapped him out of his thoughts, Tohru’s.
He could feel his face go red. Oh shit, he thought, not again.
‘I’m fucking fine, Tohru!’ He snapped. He felt a drop in his stomach when he saw her hand drop and her eyes sink to the ground.
