*Sophie's POV*
I walked in to Haven field and Grady did not look happy.
" Where on earth have you been," he asked.
" Oh calm down Grady we new she would be out. She was just out longer then we expected," she spoke calmly. " Grady plz give me a minute to talk to Soohie alone please." He didn't segues and just left the kitchen.
" So what happened last night? I think I have an idea but I want to hear it from you," she said giving a comforting motherly smile. "Well first Fitz kind of surprised me with a dinner then umm we kinda *coughing* kissed *coughing* and watched a movie and went to bed," I said. Maybe she didn't realize me trying to cover up the word kissed. " could you say that again?" She asked. " watched a movie?" I said playing stupid. " No not that,"
" we kissed," I said hesitantly
" I can't believe it sophie! This is great! But I just want to make sure that's all you did was kiss. Right,"
" eww of course all we did was kiss Mom!" I said. I wasn't ready for that stuff yet. We had barely even started dating yet. Then I got a call on my imparter. It was from fitz. " hey what's up?" I asked when I picked up.
" not much I was just wondering if you want to have dinner near my house tonight?"
" sure that sounds fun," I said smiling
" I'll pick you up at eight, dress casual,"
He knew me so well! " Bye," I said hanging up.
" looks like someone needs to get ready for tonight," Edaline said from around the corner.
*time skip one year*
I now lived with Fitz in his house. I sold my apartment after a few months of living there. Things were going great and I loved being around fitz all he time. I was supposed to start my job as a keeper in a few months as well. I was sitting in our living room when I heard someone come into the house. Fitz was still at work so I wasn't sure who it was. Just then Simone came behind me and covered my eyes. It startled me and I jumped. " guess who?" Said a familiar accented voice. " it is fitz?" I asked sarcastically. " yeah how'd you know?" He said sounding actually disappointed. " I just know," I said.
" we should actually talk," he said. His expression scared me. I could tell I wouldn't like whatever he was about to say.
" there was evidence of someone trying to copy the Neverseen's work and the council needs us too find them. It's in the human world and we have to go now," my heart was racing and I was freaking out. We changed into human clothes and then leaped away. Here we go again
