Chapter 3

Greyson's POV.

"You know, Rudy, just because you showed your ass last week doesn't mean you have to ignore me."I said, fed up with my younger brothers distance with me the past week.

"Yeah I know.." he mumbled. "I just, need to say I'm sorry" he said with a straight face. I nodded.

"Apology denied" I said with a small smirk.

"Now come on you can't do that!" He laughed.

"I'm playing Bozo, but I'm about to leave so, I'll catch up with you" I said, starting out the door.

"Wait!" Rudy said, chasing after me. "I thought you said you were staying home today and cleaning?" He said.

"Dad said I could do it later. Why?" I asked looking at him. He looked at me, I could tell he was slightly nervous.

"Oh no, no reason at all" his voice cracked. "I'll see you" he turned around to walk the other way.

"Well don't you wanna come with me? Like you always do?" I said, horribly confused. He held up a peace sign, never turning back to face me. That was strange.

I just ignored it and went on my way to Droopys and Mikeys house.

"What's up, Watts!" Jay said holding up his hand for a high five. Once he saw it was me he almost pissed himself it looked like.

"Excuse me?" I asked the idiot in front of me.

"Uh Grey, whats up, its a high five" he said putting his hand in my face. I slapped his hand.

"Has my little brother been coming here without me?" I asked.

"No, why would he?" Jay said, Jay was always the best at lying, and we knew that better than anyone, he didn't do it often but he was good at it.

"Then why did you think I was him?" I said. He rolled his eyes.

"He was supposed to be bringing us Dairy Queen, I have him the money. I ran into him on the street and he said he'd handle it" he said.

It seemed believable, Rudy would do anything for my friends just to fit in somewhere. "Whatever" I groaned.  "Where's Yad and Sherri?"

"You mean Yard and Sherri?" Droopy cracked a laugh.

"Yard?" I asked him, he was already laughing.

"They went to find a tv" Mikey said, running a hand through his messy dark hair.

"Who has the money for a tv?" I asked him. He pointed at Droopy.

"Don't tell me hes-" I started to say but Mikey nodded his head. "What if he gets caught?" I whispered as we walked to the kitchen. "How long has he been doing that?"

"For a few months actually. Me and Jay tried to tell him but he won't listen you know, the only human in the world he'll listen to his Yadira and she can't find out he said." He said making a sandwich.

"Yadira might not imply herself but she's smart, she'll catch on. What does he think she'll do stop him? Because she will" I said slumping back in my chair.

"If there's a will there's a way" he joked.

I rolled my eyes. "So what kind of tv are they getting? Wait, is it a colored one?"

He shrugged. "I don't know, but that would be neat"

"Have you really never smoked before?" He asked me.

"Maybe once a long time ago but I didn't feel anything" I shrugged.

"You know, you're boring" he said, I frowned. "I'm just joking, you're pretty groovy"(oof) he grinned.

I blushed and looked down. "Really?"

He nodded. "Yeah, of course" with a grin

I was kinda freaking out, yeah he was just being nice but still. "Are you wearing a Mickey shirt?" I asked him. He looked down at his t-shirt.

"Yes" he said, sounding embarrassed.

"That's adorable" I said with a giggle. He looked at me.

"Do I look stupid?" He asked.

"No, you wear that all the time it looks good on you" I said to him, still giggling.

About that time we heard the front door open. "I'm not carrying that thing in" we heard Sherri say.

"Hey, I'll get it" Mikey said walking out to the van, attempting to carry it by himself.

I grabbed the other side. "I can help you" I said.

"You sure about that?" He chuckled, I rolled my eyes.

"How much was this thing?" Mikey asked.

"You don't even want to know" Sherri said.

After setting up the new TV and stuff, a few hours went by.

Mikey's POV.

It bothered me that Jay lied to her, I mean I wasn't innocent either, I know what's going on.

After that fight they had, Rudy came over when the girls were gone home. Yeah we let him try it, but he was cool with it. He didn't act like a damn idiot.

I feel bad, I know I should tell her but it'll just make things bad between all of us.

"Where's the Dairy Queen that Rudy was supposed to bring you guys" Greyson asked.

Son of a bitch.

"I guess he jacked the money" Jay said.

"You don't sound too concerned." She said with a dirty look.

I just kept quiet and heard the phone ring down stairs. I got up and quickly took off to answer it.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Mikey, is my sister there?" A very nervous Rudy said into the phone.

"Yeah, Rudy, what's up? You okay?" I asked him actually concerned.

"Dude I messed up big time, she's got to come get me I can't go home and I don't want to be here." He sounded like he didn't feel real good.

"Look where you at? I'll take her to pick you up"

"Um, I'm at Reecies and Piecies house"

"Reecies and Piecies? The hell? Look we'll be over there"

I hung up the phone.

"Reecies and Piecies, what names" I laughed to myself. As I made my way back to the attic, Jay and Sherri were leaving.

"Man, you wouldn't know two people named Reecies and Piecies would ya?" I asked Jay.

"You ain't heard of them?" Sherri said, surprised. I shook my head in confusion.

"Ask Watts number one about them, see ya man" he looked at Sherri but then they left. I opened the attic door. Greyson blue eyes looked at me from across the room,

"Who was it?" She asked.

"You're kid brother"

"What'd he need?" She asked, looking back down at her catalog.

"You to pick him up at Reecie cups and someone else's house, oh, Reecies and Piecies" I said. I never seen someone stand up so fast in their lives.

"What'd he doing there?" Yadira said, how are these people.

"Come on, give me a ride" she dragged me buy my t-shirt. Cussing all the way to my car, she jumped into the passenger seat. I started the engine. "Jesus could you be any slower!" She yelled at me.

"Jesus Christ, what's wrong?" I asked very confused.

"You don't know who these two stupid sons of a bitches are?" She said.

"No, who are they?"

"Just hurry up and drive and I'll tell you"
