Courtney POV
Matt and I walked over to the elevator and got in. We were the only ones in there. Matt smiled at me and I smiled back. All of a sudden the elevator came to a stop. I tried pressing buttons but nothing was working. The lights then went out and the emergency one came on. I was freaking out so I went over to Matt and buried my head in his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and patted my back. "It's fine, don't worry Court," Matt said. "What if we are stuck here for hours or days! What if they can't get it to work so we are trapped her-," Matt stopped me with a small kiss. I looked at him and let go. "I-I'm sorry I didn't know what I was doing and I just wanted to make you not worri-," I put a finger to his lips and hugged him. I was too embarrassed to say but when we kissed it was like fireworks went off. I sat down on the ground and couldn't stop blushing. Matt sat down by me. "I'm scared," I said to make things less awkward. "Don't worry I'm sure they'll have it fixed in no time," he said. I went on my phone and looked at the news for this area to see if there was any major accidents that might delay the fire department from getting here. Nothing seemed too bad so maybe we would be out soon. "Can I tell you something?" Matt asked. "Sure," I said looking at him. "You look really cute when you're scared," he said. I blushed again. "Well this is a perfect time to get to know each other more without the boys interrupting so what's your favorite color?" I smiled. "It's neon yellow," I said. "Nice," Matt replied. "Do you have any pets?" I asked. "A dog and a cat," he said. I smiled. We looked at each other for a moment Matt leaned in and so did I. Matt put his hand on my cheek and leaned in all the way causing our lips to touch. You know how in the movies how the girl describes her kiss with detail, I can't. It was so amazing I was just focused on the fact that Matt and I were sharing a long passionate kiss. Matt fought for entrance with his tongue and I granted it. I was suppressed at how good Matt was since he didn't seem like the PDA type. I broke apart and looked away. "Matt," I said. "Yeah," he said nervous. "I like you," I said. He grinned and hugged me. "You like me! I like you too!" he said. We talked for hours about random stuff past experiences and what we liked about Magcon the best. We talked about two new people who were joining Magcon soon and what they would be like since we have never met them or even knew there names. "Can I ask you a personal question?" Matt said as he held me in his arms. "Okay," I said. "I heard you talking to Taylor about finding love once. What went wrong?" he said. I rested my head against his chest. "It was about a year ago," I started, " his name was Sam. He came to Florida for the second half of the year and we never talked. We then had our class trip and we were partners. I thought I found true love. He asked me out that day and I said yes. We went out for the last month of school and when he had to leave he promised to keep in touch. We eventually stopped video chatting and texting. Soon he actually became pretty famous on vine like us. He posted pictures of him kissing girls so I assumed we broke up. I promised myself to never trust another guy again but I'm kind of falling for one now," I said looking up into Matt's eyes. He smiled and kissed me on the forehead. "Well the place we are going tomorrow for Austin's music video is right near a go cart track. What would you say if I asked you out on a date?" Matt said. I really liked when he took me out to lunch. He knew how to make a girl feel special. "I would like that," I said. I gasped. "What?" Matt asked worried. "Nash's date, I didn't tell him about the elevator!" I went to go text him but my phone died half way through typing the text. "Crap!" I said. Matt didn't have his phone so I couldn't call him. "Don't worry Court, I'm sure he'll understand," Matt said. About ten minutes later the elevator started working again. The manager apologized and gave us some coupons for free nights and we went to our room. I looked at the clock. It was one in the morning. Nash was sitting on the bed on his phone and Taylor was in the shower because I heard the water running. When Nash saw us he got up and started yelling at me. "I should of known you did this Matt. You took her on a date so she wouldn't go with me!" I walked over to Nash. "No! It wasn't like that. We were trapped in the elevator and stuck for hours. I'm so sorry," I said. Nash looked so embarrassed. "I'm sorry Court. I didn't mean to yell." "It's fine," I said and smiled. "So since tomorrow is our last night here do you want to try the date again?" Nash asked. I looked over at Matt. I loved him and I couldn't go out with Nash. "Nash, I really do like you. I think you are nice, funny, handsome, but I can't go out with you. I think of you as only a friend," I said. "I understand," he said and went back to the bed. I felt bad. I decided to just go to sleep since we had to be up early for the music video we were shooting with Austin Mahone. Taylor came out of the bathroom and crawled up next to me since he got the bed tonight. I fell asleep thinking about Matt. I loved him, he was just like me and we needed to be together forever.
