I'm so excited, and a bit sad, but excitement just overpowered sadness.
Today is the day!
It's the first day of school!
I'm already a 9th grade student, at maraming mga seniors na nagsasabing ito ang pinaka memorable school year sa highschool life ng isang student, I hope it's true.
"Ma!" My voice serenaded the whole house.
"Ella! ano ka ba, ang aga aga, ang ingay ingay!" MommyLo shouted, she just came out from the kitchen.
"Sorry po, MommyLo." I said, then kissed her right cheek.
Pumasok ako sa kusina, at nakasalubong ko si Mama Tita, may dalang kape. I smiled and greeted her, "Good Morning, Mama Tita!" I said cheerfully. This rarely happens, me waking up early and in a good mood.
"Ma!" I called my Mom when I saw her.
"Ella? Oh? Anong meron?" She asked, I hugged her by the back kasi.
"Nothing, wala ka na nung pag gising ko." I said in a sweet voice.
"Zamellah Avedis, may kasalanan ka ba?" She asked in a doubtful manner.
"Really Ma? I'm just excited for today, I'm going back to school!" I cheerfully said.
"Okay then, mag prepare kana, patapos na to." Mom said, and so I left...gwapa ko.
I went upstairs, where mine and my Mom's room was. I don't have my own room since Mom doesn't like keeping secrets from each other, she said noon na if magka own room daw ako, baka e hide ko na may boyfriend na ako, which would be impossible.
Kinuha ko yung towel ko at naligo. It took me almost an hour to get ready, woah that was fast. I usually go for one and a half hour.
I was only wearing pink puff sleeves paired with mom jeans, and with white converse.
I took my tote bag with a statement, "The future is female." then went out of the room.
while I was on my way downstairs, I heard my name, "Ella!" Mom called me.
"Yes Ma!" I replied as I stopped.
"Gising na ba si Zach?" Tanong niya.
"Hindi ko alam!" I answered, at chi-neck ang mga gamit ko na nasa loob ng tote bag ko, I think complete naman yung mga gamit na gusto kong dalhin for today.
"Gisingin mo Avedis!" Mom shouted-- again, calling me by my second name.
"Okay!" After that, I went to where my brother usually sleeps, sa room ni Mama Tita, yung room kasi ni Mama Tita is like sala type ganon pero malamig, it's really nice and may television kaya dito natutulog kapatid ko, he loves watching cartoons, dito din kami nag movie marathon, usually Disney Original Movies pinapanood namin.
"Zachary James!!!" I shouted to wake him up, but to my dismay he didn't even move!
I slowly looked around and examined everything that was inside the room, luckily I saw a glass of water, then had a brilliant idea. I came closer to him and spilled a little amount of water in his face, another spill in his neck and then he FLINCHED! what a success!
but before he could throw a tantrum, I immediately ran, and screamed, "Wake up Zach or you'll be late for school, Mom's looking for you!" and went down the dining room to eat my breakfast, I don't want to be late on my first day.
When I reached the dining table, I saw DaddyLo, MommyLo and Mama Tita eating their breakfast, I sat down beside DaddyLo, "Good Morning, Z" he greeted.
