Niall woke up to the sound of sniffles in the middle of the night and rubbing his eyes tiredly he tried to figure out where they were coming from but couldn't figure it out. Well that's until he realised he was now sharing a bedroom.

Quietly kicking his duvet off he crawled over to the ladder and carefully made his way down being careful not to trip and when he reached the ground he looked over to Where Louis was and found him curled up impossibly small and could picture him out to be shaking. Niall quietly went and sat on the boys bed making Louis shoot up at the movement and at seeing Niall started to sob.

"Hey Lou what's wrong?" Niall asked quite concerned by how much the boy was crying but Louis just shook his head continuing to sob.

"I'm going to get Harry or Liam." Niall said not knowing how to calm the boy down and Louis sobbed out Liam's name so Niall figured that meant he wanted Liam.

"I'll be back louis." Niall said before dashing out the room and over to the one opposite him.

"Liam." Niall said shaking the older boys shoulder but all Liam did was groan and roll over.

"Liam please wake up." Niall said shaking him harder but Liam still didn't wake up.

Niall then took matter into his own hands and jumped onto Liam's bed making the boy sit straight up coming face to face with Niall.

"Niall what on Earth are you doing it's the middle of the night." Liam whined as normally when Niall came for a cuddle he just carefully climbed into the bed and curled into his side trying not to wake him.

"I'm sorry Li but you weren't waking up and Louis' sobbing really badly and I don't know what's wrong but he wants you." Niall said and Liam nodded then.

"Alright stay here Ni." Liam said but Niall had already began to climb up to Harry's bunk and Liam fondly shook his head.

Liam quickly grabbed his hoodie flinging that on and headed over to Louis and Niall's room where like Niall had said the boy was sobbing and hard.

"Hey Lou, what's wrong?" Liam asked making his way over to the bed and flicking the lamp on.

"S-scared." Louis sobbed clinging onto Liam once Liam had placed him on his lap being able to tell instantly Louis had used the pull up but he'd tackle that issue in a minute.

"Why you scared, did you have a nightmare?" Liam asked but Louis shook his head.

"Dark." The boy whimpered while sniffling starting to calm down now he had Liam with him and the light was on.

"Oh Lou, why didn't you tell us you were scared of the dark. We could have gotten you something to help." Liam said rubbing the boys back remembering how mr Morgan had mentioned about Mrs Banks and wondered if she had a nightlight or something.

"Do you want to sleep with me tonight, as we can't really do anything about the light till morning." Liam said and Louis nodded sleepily.

"Alright grab Wilbur and your blankie then." Liam said placing Louis down and the boy quickly picked up his comfort items from his bed before raising his arms again for Liam who picked the boy up.

"Hey Lou, I think we're drop blankie and Wilbur off and then head to the bathroom." Liam said quietly as he entered his room and Louis sniffled but nodded knowing he was wet and it was pretty uncomfortable for him.

Liam smiled and let Louis drop his things on his bed seeing Harry and Niall asleep on the bunk above before Liam carried the boy into the bathroom.

Liam quickly changed him out of the wet pull up and put him in a clean one before picking him back up and carrying him back to his and Harry's room.
