1. His nickname Tré is derived from his surname, while Cool was given to him by his neighbor Larry Livermore – founder of Lookout! Records, one-time home of Green Day.
2. He made his first recording with Livermore's band The Lookouts, aged 12. He appears on their 1987 debut, 'One Planet One People'.
3. When Tré joined Green Day in 1991 he was a very skilled drummer and it pushed Billie and Mike a lot harder
4. Tré's father, Frank Wright refurbished an old bookmobile and was their driver for three tours
