924 Gilman Street, or better known as Gilman, is where Green day played in the early years. It's located in Berkeley, California. About a 30 minute drive from Rodeo, where Billie, Mike, and Tré lived. It was a very nice(ish) place, it was a place where you could be yourself, no matter your sexuality, race, etc. Green Day were banned from going there when they released Dookie, but in 2015 they were invited back to fundraise and they accepted. They also filmed their Revolution Radio video in Gilman.
