Sana looked out of the window, solemn. She had no choice but to follow through with her initial plan, not wanting to drag others into the mess she created. Since Mina risked her position as the head doctor of the Myoui Hospital when she helped Sana fake those pregnancy report documents, it was only fair that she kept her end of the deal. She had to do it in order to protect her dear friend's reputation and career, even if it meant to bury her unrequited feelings deep inside her heart.

Yes, Minatozaki Sana finally acknowledged that of all people, she was in love with Min Yoongi. It was ironic really, because one of the reasons she chose him in the first place was because she was confident that neither of them would ever fall for each other. Yet in the end, she was the one who got caught in her own trap.

And damn did it hurt.

Sana knew the short-lived happiness was just an illusion born out of a lie. The truth was, she learnt from a trusty source that Yoongi's mother abandoned him when he was barely 10 months old. Hence, it left a huge impact on his life. One of the major reasons Yoongi had never been in an intimate relationship was to avoid making the same mistake as his mother, since he himself experienced how it felt like to grow up without an important parental figure  his life. It was such a sentimental story but in the beginning, Sana was too focused on her selfish desire for freedom that she was willing to brush her conscience aside and use this information to her advantage. Perhaps karma made her fall for him just so that she'd get her heart broken.

- "Sana!"

Sana blinked owlishly. Was she dreaming or was Min Yoongi really standing right in front of her? A worried expression etched onto his face, which obviously made no sense. She was certain Yoongi would have known about the miscarriage by then so there was no chance he'd still look at her so caringly.

- "It's going to be alright."

Sana's eyes widened when she felt a warm body pressed against her small frame, enveloping her in an embrace. His calming presence, distinct scent and soothing touch... there was no mistaking it was the real Min Yoongi in the flesh - the very same man whom she had been thinking about all week...

But why was he there?

As much as she was moved, Sana couldn't ignore the lingering doubt lurking in the back of her mind. After all, this was the infamous Min Yoongi she was dealing with - although the more time she spent in his presence, the more he proved to be different from those rumours.

- "I'm here with you. We can go through this together."

Sana's heart helplessly melted.
