Friday after noon
3:50 pm
Throughout this whole week of school y/n had spent their days in class thinking about what the patients voice would sound like and how his parents would react to him being awake
After y/n had paid him a visit they asked one of nurses for his name,Ruby.
Oh Ruby.. the thought of him laying in bed motionless brought tears into y/n's eyes
They quickly wiped it away with their back of their hand
Who wouldve thought that a handsome stranger like Ruby would end up meaning so much to y/n
When Saturday finally came around y/n woke up extra early in the morning which wasn't anything new to them although this sudden change shocked a few nurses
But y/n just shrugged it off and began to do her daily tasks around the facility before paying ruby a visit
But as soon as they reached the floor he was in they could hear people arguing inside his room
"I told you to look after him!" A male voice snapped
"I tried Mario I-I really did!" A female voice stuttered in between sobs
"You tried?!"
"Mijo!" Another voice chimed in
Y/n quietly moved closer to the door since it was left open just enough for them to see who was inside
There were only three people paying ruby a visit
His grandmother,a tall curly haired man who's facial features were similar to Ruby's,a curly haired girl, and a raven haired male who was leaning up against the wall ,staring at the patient in disbelief. He wore his hair messily over his eyes which was accompanied by blood shot eyes due to lack of sleep
The sound of the elevator ding startled y/n
They quickly made their way down the hall and over to the washroom
Their body stiffened when they heard they females voice from outside
It was in a different tone soft and comforting
"everything is going to be okay..He's in good hands" she soothed
"We've already lost Olivia..I can't bare to lose ruby too.." a male voice croaked out
"I don't know what I'd do if that were to happen" he added
"We're not going to lose him.."
"How can you be so sure? I mean..You saw what happened to Olivia what if Ruby never makes it out alive..This is all my fault I shouldve done something. Oscar was right I shouldve sh-"
"No, you and I both know damn well that what Oscar's plan would never work out..Besides he pressured you into doing something that could ruin your life forever.." she cut him off
"But I don't care about my life! If only id did what I was supposed to we wouldnt be in this situation!"
"And then what?! Am I supposed to just visit your cell and act as if you never murdered anyone!"she snapped
He sighed
"Look..The best thing that we could do right now is contact the police and give them our statements" she suggested
"Then what? wait untill the judge finally decides to pick up Ruby's case? I don't know about you monse but I want my justice now.."
