Chapter 8

Your POV:

I take my seat next to Saiki, jeez it's so weird  knowing theres another physic, and he sits next to me in class... Isnt that really weird. Regaurdless, I act the way people currently think I act. According to Teruhashi, she acts like a perfect pretty girl, so I'll have to try aswell. At the start coming here, I wanted to just avoid everyone and play matchmaker. Now, i wanna try having the life I wanted back then. I could have changed it, but I didnt want to rely on my powers. I still dont, but I feel I want to be someone this year.. make friends, become popular, maybe even date someone. So I'll use my powers a bit more-

"Y/n answer this." The teacher puts her chalk next to an equation. Startled I sit up straight, all around me I hear things like:

"Should have paid attention."
"The teachers picking on her now."
"This will be funny.."
"No way she can answer, is she actually trying to solve it?!"

.. Im not getting answers! I have to solve it myself... whatever, I'm not stupid, I usually get 100% out of my tests without cheating.. I glance up at the board..I dont want to make a fool of myself... I'll just have too do it..

3.2.1. STOP.

The room becomes silent with a blue tint. Nothing is moving, and everything is silent, not even my telepathy is picking anyone up. But amongst my silence I hear a:

"This again...? Its been a while..."

I turn my head to see Saiki, kind of annoyed. What does he mean again? Does he not get affected by this?.. I call this power stop.. basically, everything in the universe stops for a good 5 minutes when I do this. But maybe it doesn't work on Physics...

"Saiki?" I say, looking at him. "You're still moving? Are you not affected by it?" I say. He gave a little jump in his chair due to the surprising sound and turned to me.

"Are you the one doing it? Have you been the one doing it these past 5 years?" He asks, looking back around. 5 years.. ya thats about when I started having this power..

"Um, ya i think.." i say starring at the equation, trying to solve it. "Though, if there are other physics, then that means maybe some werent caused by me.." i say.
Wait that doesnt make sense...
"Actually never mind. Ya, Its me. Ive never expirienced one that I havent caused." I tell him. He gets used to the weird atmosphere, and shrugs, continuing his work. I finish calculating the equation in a good 2 minutes. Actually, not to brag, but Im kinda smart.  So i understood it fine without context..

"Oh ya by the way. I should probably tell you that question is a trick question. According to the teacher, its never been sloved by anyone before, she just wanted to get your attentsion." He says boredly. He could have told me that 2 minutes ago...

"I already sloved it though." I tell him. " the answer was 23,888,992"

"How did you do that?" He says.
"It wasnt that hard. I just went through the steps." I tell him. " anyways, im turning back to normal now."
"Finally." He replies, doodling cubes at the bottom of him note book. He did that? Anyways.

1.2.3 RESET.

I reset it, and everything is how it started. I walk up to the board, as Saiki stares at me.
I write down my equation, addind the answer. I drop the chalk and sit. My calcultion was right, right? People are starring at me.. I should have just called the teacher out insetad of showing off. Ugh im so stupid for someone that hopefully solved some un-solved question.

"How did you get that?" My teacher asks. "Explain...."

"Do I have too?" I say.. stuttering slitely.
"Try." She says, curious how I wrote the answer.
I sigh, this is going to be annoying...
I stand and do the work on the board, filling it up wih chalk at the end. Finishing my lecture. I walk to my teacher and say something quietly.

"Just found out it was unsolvable. If you want you can pass this off as your work. I dont want to deal with media.. could you keep it secret?" It looked like she nodded, but her and the class were bewildered and confused. Maybe I pulled it off. Regaurdless, we continue class, and it was soon lunch.

I knew Teruhashi was planning to meet me for lunch so she could interigate me, however it seems that I was too late to get out, because as soon as the bell rang, she had comeover to my desk. Saiki watched as Teruhasi enthusiaticly invited me to sit with her, then dragged me off to the cafeteria. I mouthed a quick, "help" and off I was with Teruhashi, Yumehara and a girl named Mera, who didnt talk much since she was just eating.

"Sooo Y/N! Are some genius! You did amazing solving that unsolved question!" Teruhashi smiles. What shes really saying is, "dont take my academic thunder, how the hell did you do that?"

"Oh I just made that up!" I say smilling a fake smile. I want to take credit but it would be easier if I didnt.
"Oh, well you got us fooled!" Yumehara smiled. Theres not much fake to Yumehara so far. Really she was sad I couldnt do her homework for her, but thats reasonable.

"Anyways, lets get to the juicy stuff!" Yumehara smilled. "I went out with Kaidou yesterday! It was so romantic!" Oh shoot, i totally forgot to watch it.. I needed to give Kaidou hints.. but it looks like he did ok!
"He went all out and bought me flowers!" She lookd really happy. Her affection for him is currently at 86, thats really high.

"Anyways, how are things with you and Saiki Kokomi?" Yumehara asks, and Teruhashi become red like christmas bulb, and stuttered..
"C-chiyo... not infront of Y/N.. she doesnt know yet..."

"I already knew." Wait that slilpped my tounge! Ughh im so stupid-
"How?!" Teruhashi shout-wishpered.
"O-oh you guys just.. looked really close..." i manadge to make up on the spot. Teruhashi blushed, and Yumehara smirked.

"Anyways Y/n, do you like anyone?" She asks.
"No." I tell her. Though to be honest, I wish i did. It's not that I dont like anyone just to not like anyone, its just I always find other guys flaws when I hear their toughts, and so I end up not liking them..i
"Anyone from your old school?"
"No."
"Aww, you're no fun!" Yumehara stops pestering me, and I eat my food.
"Hey do you have anything with Saiki? He seemed flustered after he talked to you, and was pulling that blonde guy with the green pin in his head." She says.
"Come to think of it, Saiki has pins similarly." Teruhashi says, changing the subject. Weird, I though she wanted to talk about it. "Your earrings look like them too!" Teruhashi smiles.

Then without warning she grabbed both off my limiters, and pulled them off.
"Wow, those came out quickly!" Teruhashi smiled, inspecting them. I was sitting there afraid. I would do something terrible if I did anything. Not to mentioned she took them both out! That means I'm 100%! What the hell do I do..?! I cant talk, my powers can amplify my voice to break walls. A slightest move could create a wind strong enough too cut a straight line through anyone here! I sit in slilence, waiting. What the hell do I do? I look around, and see.. SAIKI. SAIKI KNOWS ABOUT IT....

I stare at him with scared eyes, waiting for him to look at me. He turns around from where he's sitting, and then looks at me. Confused he mouths, "calm down, its just Teruhashi." Before I turn my eyes to Teruhashi holding both of my limiters. My eyes scream help. He looks at them and nods, I think he understood.. he gets up and walks towards teruhashi.

Saiki's POV:

Oh god they have her limiters! How did they even do that!? Shes gonna break something, I wonder why she cant talk though... what to do.. I could just float them back in, but then Yumehara and Teruhashi would be freaked out. If I ignore it she'll destroy the school somehow. So i get up. Its going to be really hard to deal with what comes after, but if it doesnt destroy the school so be it... I walk to Teruhashi, and ask her, "Can I see those?" Using telepathy.

"Oh um sure Saiki!" She smiles, and hands me pins. " be carefull their Y/N's-"

Before she can finish, I turn to Y/N. He ears are covering her hair, so i slide it out the way, and one in. I do the same for the other side. According to Yumehara's thoughts, she thinks I'm being romantic toward Y/N, which is the storm I was talking about. Especially since I did it infront of teruhashi makes the storm into multiple natural disasters. Seriously, I wish I could think of it more... couldnt she have just dealed with this herself? Its so inconvinient. Regaurdless, she lets out a breath and mutters a "thank you." I walk back to my table as fast as possible to avoid talking about what just happened. I opene my phone and text her a "like I said, pay attention." And continue eating my food. Jeez she is trouble...
