The night had been boring, nothing ever happens once the sun goes down and the moon rises. Though the moon was full and shined its light down on the whole forest and the stars blanketed themselves over the world. Gerharde had returned, exhausted early this morning, before the sun rose. She had fallen asleep once she got here. For the rest of the night I watched over both the fountain and her.
After the sun had risen and the day had began, there was a faint groaning. Turning to the fairy who was now sitting up and stretching. "Someone's finally awake.." she had smiled and relaxed again looking back at me. Soon her smiles had faded as her vision cleared. "Alice....why do you have a bag and your scythe?" Turning back to face the forest, letting my back face her and sighing. Looking down to my feet and the bottom on the tree. "Gerharde, I wanted to wait till you woke......I'm leaving the forest"
"Why? What made you feel you need to leave suddenly?" Sighing to myself and pushing myself up to my feet. She caught her breath, Gerharde had noticed the darkness that surrounded her, was gone. Black crawling up her arms, up her neck to her chin, and down her legs, gone. The crest that occupied the space above my right eye, gone, as well as the darkness that swallowed my eyes. Turning to face her, no longer with black soulless eyes, but my original bright blue ones. "Alice.....what did you do...?"
"I have found a way to seal my darkness and my powers inside me, that way I can join the human realm and your people can live in peace"She let out a cracked sigh, she wanted to cry, I knew it, she was always so emotional. "Fine....I can't change your mind...but allow me to give you something....in return for protecting the forest" She turned and walked to the fountain, grabbed the cup and turned walking up to me. "Gerharde..." she held the cup to me and looked at me as a single tear rolled down her cheek. "Take a drink...you'll be able to live a little longer and heal easily" grabbing ahold of the cup and taking a drink, sure not to drink more than half. Returning the cup to her and smiling to her, "thank you Gerharde, you've been a great friend, and I'm thankful"

Once outside the fairy Kings forest, the world looked harsh. Desert land with rocks and dead trees, product of the war. The human realm was the fair grounds and In return it had been almost completely destroyed. Forests flattened, craters so large they could swallow whole oceans. It will take years for this world to return back to how it was. But it's gonna take a lot of time.
I decided to walk towards the east, there use to be nice forests and nice plains out there. I remember the first time I came to this realm, it was bright, colorful, and full of life. At that time I had hated coming here, I hated this realm, hated the insects that called it home. During that time I hadn't liked much of anything or anyone. As I had come here more often, many times alone or just with Estarossa, I've grown to like this realm.
As days passed, nights came and went, I hadn't stopped walking. I had finally started hitting trees and grass, some were burnt, smashed. Others stood tall, untouched, full and green. I hadn't realized how tired I actually was till I sat down and relaxed my body. There wasn't a single soul around, no one had come across me. I was all alone for hours, just walking through rocks and desert. Deciding to camp for the night, first time in what seemed like weeks. Creating a little fire and laying down to stay warm. Looking up at the sky, thinking about what I'm going to do, till thoughts of past came to the front of my mind. Past images of those I've grown dear of, soon turned to the war. After being free from all and finally closing my eyes and falling asleep to continue my journey.
