Sitting in front of a small fire, the sweet smell of roasted flesh and smoke. The day ending as the sun set giving beautiful colors of orange and purple across the sky. We got separated when we first walked into this huge maze. I ended up on my own and the theses huge monsters came out from under the ground. This one had broke through several walls when I finally got my scythe through its thick skin. It dragged me pretty far, I had to make medicine to cover the wounds along my arms, shoulders and legs.
I used what herbs I had left to season it's stale meat. Picking it up off the flame and taking a bite out of the chunk of flesh. "Not bad.." chewing and swallowing before standing and continuing. Following a wall of earth, buildings, old forests. Dragging the large weapon across the ground, making way to the middle of this damned maze. It seemed like I've been attacked left and right. Every turn I make there's giants, knights, hide 'n seeks, or theses damn land fish. I was hitting my limit of patience, I had began getting annoyed and pissed.
Tossing the stick that once held earth crawler meat on it, behind me. "I've had it with this shit..." Getting more aggravated as time goes on. Walking toward an opening in the wall I had been following. Looking through it to find others standing in front of a huge boulder. Some had turned to look, seeing who had joined them. Looking to the one side, giant, several other people. To the other, knights and fairies. Others of course I had no clue who. But they seemed to all be waiting for someone.
A large rumble spread through the ground. The walls shook and a large power broke through the walls. Creating a huge hole through several of the walls. Looking back at the large hole, several figures coming through the walls out of the shadows.
"Ms. Alicen!" The silvery white haired girl came running up smiling. "Hey Elizabeth, you made it through"
"Hey Ali!" The blonde walked up, hands shoved in pockets. Smiling at the two, then looking toward the large rock. "This is going to be interesting" smirking, I had honestly been really excited for this. Never gone head to head with gloxinia.
As if he stood above everyone else, the short blonde stepped in front. "If anyone wants to turn back, do so now!"
Atop the boulder stood a giant, another being wrapped in green pants, as well as a human dressed in referee clothes. "Weapons and any other magical abilities are allowed! If you fall off, get knocked out, or die, your team loses!!" I hated games like this, but of course those two liked human culture.
"Let the festival begin!!!" The ground began shifting and we were all lifted into the air. Looking down it was like huge hands lifting us on flat areas. Looking around to see everyone has a partner. "This is quite interesting.." Turning to see the bird-like blue demon. "You've got to be shitting me.." smirking to myself and turning back down to the three in the middle arena.
Once we all figured out we can't leave our arenas, the festival truly began. Elizabeth and the fairy guardian Elaine were to begin their battle. "Gloxinia!! Leave Elizabeth out if this!!!!" The blonde across the way along with the tall blue haired man began yelling toward the fairy and giant.
Elaine and Elizabeth had defeated both their enemies. Of course they couldn't kill them, but even when defeated they get dropped into a hole. "The winners are the combo team, Elizabeth and Elaine!!!!"
Sighing and sitting on the edge of the arena. Dangling my legs and watching closely. Every little thing, the way the giant and fairy move, they are easy to read. This might be hard though. They are completely blank, no expression, nothing. There isn't a way out of this, if only we can find an opening. It was dark out, but we can't sneak out of this. Looking around and starring at the fight between Meliodas and the blue demons.
The two demon birds swooped down and made attacks on the two. It was a little confusing, they didn't attack or move, dodge or anything. They seemed to be arguing while the demons destroyed themselves. "Winners, team combo Meliodas and Ban!!!"
This whole thing was getting real annoying. The old man was next, he and the pig were fighting some wannabe holy knight and the doll. Groaning at the old man yelling to the TC. It never mattered, the minute you walk into this death trap, your either going to make it out or not. That's the rules, that's how it always is with demons. Even for winners though, death in always inevitable.
Watching the two begin their battle, the doll took out his own team mate. He brought the old man to him and used his magic ability to lock the old man in his memories. This is his power, he manipulates and changes memories to use against his enemies. It's a pain in the ass. Then the craziest thing happened, it even caught me off guard.
The old man came out of his trance, stole the doll's glasses, and the old man grew. As if his body absorbed heat and expanded into a large muscular body. It was insane, who the hell was this guy? That's when I saw the beast imprinted into his back, the lions sin. I hadn't listen to what he was saying, but his body started radiating with heat.
A large one handed axe slammed into his hand and a large light began to shine at the tip. The night turned to day, heat consumed the area. This is exciting, but he's not aiming at the doll, so that means he's.. looking down to the giant and fairy. A smirk crawling onto my lips, this just got so much better.
Soon a huge bright light, it was quite blinding, but I was able to watch all that happened. A huge ball of sun hit the giant and fairy in the middle arena. They didn't even see it coming and it possibly killed them.
Once the light left and everything settled, all eyes went to the middle arena. Sitting there watching. Then it hit me. All at once I had a rush of feeling and senses I haven't used in so long. My hair stood on end, my skin crawled. "....we're going to die..."
Alright!!!! Lol it took a long time to finish this!! May is hell for me and I can't get anything done! Oh well I know it's ass but it's okay. Hope you enjoyed the story 😁😁
