Tom Holland - Insults

The bar was packed. But not with strangers trying to hook up with one another. No. No, it was quite the opposite. Inside this bar was two groups of people that despised each other. On the left, closest to the exit was the cast that belonged to DC. On the right, their rivals. The cast that belonged to MARVEL...

Each person was talking to their opposite. In other words, they were talking to the actor that basically played their character but in a different universe.

Ben Affleck and Robert Downey Jr were firing at one another. "God, Iron Man is such a prick, there's nothing special about him if you take away the suit! All he has is money!"
"BATMAN IS THE EXACT SAME!"

Next to them was Henry Cavill and Chris Hemsworth. "Seriously? A hammer? What are you gonna do? Hit some nails into the bag guys trying to kill you?"
"At least Thor has something from his home, what do you have?"

Beside those two was Gal Gadot and Chris Evans. "Look at Captain America, a man hiding behind a shield all the time!"
"Hey lady, Wonder Woman does the same thing."
"That is false! You know nothing about Wonder Woman!"

Then the two speedsters... although they weren't exactly fighting.
"Dude, Flash is awesome, he got struck by lightning!"
"Finally someone gets it! But I mean, sometimes I wish I was a mutant, Y'know, I'd rather have had Flash be born with his gifts..."
"Nah, that's lame. I mean look at me!"

The list of actors went on. However the two young Brits were at the end of this list. Neither of them had spoken up.

A boy, new to the Avengers, known as Peter Parker or Spider-Man.

A girl, new to the Justice League, known as Kara Danvers or Supergirl.

Neither looked at each other. They had never once seen each other. One of them wasn't keen on breaking the silence between them. But the other was getting bored quickly and felt pressured to do so.

"I just realised something, did you know that Spider-Man is just the little kid who can't seem to get and keep the girl?" (Y/N) said to the other Brit.
"At least Peter Parker still has his home planet to live on."

Everyone else was silent when they realised that the two young adults had joined into the feud between the casts. Everyone stared at them.

"At least I wasn't rejected by practically my whole team!" She finally looked up at him but his head was down so she could not see him.
"Oh yeah? Well I wasn't the one hiding my powers from the human race for half of my life!" Tom looked up at (Y/N). He shrunk back slightly, realising what beauty he was talking to, but slowly regained his composure. (Y/N) felt the same, looking at this gorgeous figure in front of her. (Y/N)'s mind suddenly went blank as she was staring into his eyes. The silence was unbearable. More so with the casts staring intensely at them.

(Y/N) snapped out of her trance suddenly and said the first thing that came to mind. "Well, my powers weren't an accident, unlike yours!" The DC cast sighed at her lame attempt at a come back while MARVEL laughed.
"Where'd ya find that insult? The bottom of the bin over there!" MARVEL started to laugh harder while Robert high fives Tom. (Y/N) did a mocking laugh before quickly shooting back, "Oh-ho, Yeah, where'd you find you face? Up Robert's ass?" Robert's face scrunched, Toms turned to that of compete shock while the entire DC cast laughed and (Y/N) smirked.

Eventually things died down and the casts went on ignoring each other through the night.
(Y/N) was taking her last gulp of beer when someone took her wrist and dragged her outside.

She tripped and almost fell over but strong arms came to her rescue. "Hi..." a sweet voice whispered.
"Tom?"
"Yeah, um, look I'm sorry..."
"Yeah me too... for the record I don't think you have an ugly face!" She laughed.
"And I don't think that Supergirl is that bad to be honest, listen I kind of like you a little bit."
"Kind of a little bit?"
"Ok a lot! But I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me at some point?" Tom asked, hope practically spilling from his eyes.
"I'd enjoy that very much... tomorrow, you can pick me up at 7, I'll write down my address..."

And that was the start of a beautiful, yet secret, relationship between the two.
