Chapter 2

The next morning I woke up and made breakfast for elena and Jeremy once it was ready I called them down and then sent them on their way to school but I could tell that a some point during today I'd find elena with those salvatore brothers and to be honest I was still in happy with Damon for snapping my brothers neck and if he ever came near me I'd kill him.

I changed and went to the bar again were I ordered a scotch. The family that had been there yesterday was there again, I sat at the bar and drank by myself until matt came over to me and said
"So where were you for two years"
"New Orleans, trying not to kill a vampire who is so full of himself"
"You know about vampires"
"Yep now I suspect that my brother has not told me everything about my aunts death now tell me what you know" I said while looking into his eyes
"She was murdered but by a vampire that wanted to become a hybrid"
"Is that so by who"
"Klaus Mikaelson"
She wondered who this Klaus was but didn't have time to ponder on it because elena stormed in holding a card between her fingers and her two puppy dogs followed behind her
"Read" she said
"You are hear by invited to join the Mikaelson for a night nobody shall forget"  I shook my head
"Am I supposed to know who these Mikaelsons are"
"No but your sister insists on going to this and she said you'd know where to get a dress" Stefan said I smiled. From what I could tell he was the kind gentle brother whereas Damon was quite literally the devil
"Well Little sis it looks like we need dresses but if you want one you have to leave your little lap dogs here"
She looked reluctant at first but then nodded and followed.

As the Mikaelsons sat at the table watching the new girl walk out the bar they couldn't help but wonder how she knew Damon, Stefan and Caroline were vampires. This girl was going to cause trouble and she was the only one to have put Elena in her place since they'd been here which maybe Niklaus could use to his advantage.

Hours passed and finally it was then for this ball or party. Whatever it was I was not looking forward to it. Elena was going alone where as I had managed to get Matt to come with me as my date.

We walked through the large doors of the mansion together and I couldn't help but notice the family I'd seen for the last two days. The blonde girl was giving dirty looks but as I suspected it was because I'd come with Matt. I wore a red dress that showed my cleavage and hugged all of my curves.

I could see the tall one of the family running his eyes down my body and I couldn't help but smile but that was broken when some old woman stood at the top of the stairs and tapped her glass
"Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to thank you for coming tonight and I'd like to introduce you all to my family
Rebekah, Finn, Kol, Elijah and Niklaus" that when i stopped listening I watched the little hybrid as he looked to his mother.

When I finally snapped back from plotting what to do matt was trying to get my attention
"Matt go bug someone else" he walked away and I took a glass of champagne and walked over to the family who I now knew were the Mikaelsons
"Rose what are you doing" Elena asked me
"Making friends"
"The hell you are"
"Try and stop me little girl"
She put her hand on my arm and I growled
"You can either remove your hand or loose it lena" I said she moved it and walked away to Damon and Stefan

I looked to the Mikaelsons who had watched the little spat with me and my sister is barged passed them and they followed. I turned around when we were outside I looked to Klaus
"So you the little hybrid that killed my aunt so you could become so puppy with fangs"  kol had doubled over laughing and his sister clung to him as she tried to compose herself

"Well I don't think we've met you know who I am. Now who are you"
I chuckled
"I'm pretty sure that you already know who I am Niklaus"
He looked into my eyes and tried compelling me
"Tell me your name"
"My my Niklaus compulsion is not nice" he stood shocked that his compulsion hadn't worked before anyone could say anything Damon Stefan and elena walked out

"Stop this rose or I'll hurt your brother and sister" Damon said
I chuckled
"Oh Mr salvatore do as you wish with my sister i know which one of you she shall pick In the end but for right she's playing but of you being the little slut she is"
Her mouth fell wide open as the Mikaelsons laughed
"And threatening my brother is not nice, I walked up to him so his back was against the door

He turned and walked away as did his brother
"Go on Elena go after the brothers you so desperately want to have in stead of of a family. I don't care anymore"

I felt two arms wrapp round me and I knew it was Elijah and he was holding me back from slapping my sister
"You know what elena fuck off"
"No, you and I both know you feel guilty about leaving us because it's your fault that I'm like this"
"My fault fuck off Elena even of I was here you have still become the attention seeking bitch you are now. And I do feel guilty not for leaving but for not taking jer with me"

She turned and walked away and I got out of his arms
"Thank you"
He nodded
"And you I do not care what you did in the past or what you will do in the future in this town but I ask you to leave my brother out of this"
"I will"
I nodded back to the Mikaelsons and left my sister to do as she wished at this party.
