CHAPTER THREE

Kara and I arrive at English with a minute to spare because we saw a vending machine and I love food to much to just walk past, moral of the story my Kit-Kat got stuck, so here I am breathless walking into Mrs.Pleaway's room. "Look it's the clueless hoe and that fat cow." Brianna says with a smirk. I just flip her off and give her the fakest smile known to man.

Kara takes the last seat in the back so I have to sit next to Cameron. Cameron is part of Brianna's boyfriend's posse, a.k.a, a complete douche who sleeps his way around the school. Once I sit down and get my stuff out of my bag , I turn to see Cameron smirking at me" Hey Elodie, you wanna come to my house for a pool party I'm throwing." he asks, lust written all over his face."Over my dead body Hendricks." I say obviously not interested.

The bell rings indicating class is over, Kara walks over to my desk where I'm struggling to fit my algebra book into my bag, finally getting it in, I zip my bag and head out of the classroom with Kara. "I don't think I'm gonna make it all day, its so boring." Kara says with a yawn."Right, wanna ditch?" I ask. "YES!" Kara yells, everyone looking at her like she had 3 heads. "I'll text keegen and Paislee." I say and head towards the parking lot.

"Thank God, I about fell asleep in Bio." Keegen sighs, walking towards Garrett's car. "Where are we gonna go?" Paislee asks buckling in. "Taco Bell and the mall?" Keegen asks. "I'm down, we just have to stop by my house so I can grab some cash from my mom." I say. "Okay." Garrett says as he plugs in the AUX and blares Khalid.

*Skip to Elodie's house*

I unlock the door and put my bag down, walking into the house to find my mom. "MOM?" I yell, "What the hell do you want?"Greg snaps. "Uhh can I have some cash to go to the mall?" I ask, "Yea here." Greg says handing me the cash. I start to wall out telling myself to breath after being scared shitless from talking to him. "Hey.." he says after me. "Yea?" I ask, turning around. "Your mom and I are going to split up and I don't really need this much space so I'll probably give the house to her." he says. "Okay?" I say confused as to why he is telling me this ,but nonetheless happy he is leaving. I turn and walk back to the car. "What took you so long I could have starved to death." Paislee says dramatically.

"oh shut up." I say rolling my eyes giggling. Throughout the car ride all I could think about was Greg leaving, I was beyond happy but it seemed to good to be true. I brushed it off and enjoyed the time I had with my friends.
