                                   *Three years later*

I was watching Ryul and the twins run around our yard from the kitchen window. I was currently helping Ryul's mother cook lunch. It was my birthday today but I figured everyone had forgotten as no one had mentioned it. I sighed as I continued cutting the onions for the stew. Ryul's mother's hand slipped into my view, a small wrapped up box in her hand. "Happy Birthday Lucille." She said and smiled as I looked at her. I took the box from her hand and smiled a bit  as I opened up the gift. Inside was a small velvet box. "Go on, open it." She said, stirring the pot of stew and tossing in the onions I had cut.

Inside was a small, golden brooch. "It's been passed through our family for centuries. Longer than anyone can remember. Ryul's father and I wanted you to have it." She said and turned to face me. I hugged her and closed the box. "Thank you." I said and then continued cutting vegetables for the stew.

Once Dinner was over Ryul and the Twins came over to me. "Happy Birthday Mommy!" They said and held a flower crown out to me. I knelt down and smiled as they placed it on my head. "Thank you guys. It's beautiful." I said and hugged them. "My turn to give Mommy her present." Ryul said and the twins giggled as they backed away. He got on one knee in front of me and looked up into my eyes.

"Lucille, I had known for a very long time, since we were kids, that I was in love with you and I knew then that I wanted you by my side for eternity. When you died I was devastated and felt robbed of the possibility of our future. When Aria brought you back I knew I didn't want to wait long and possibly lose you again and so I want to know if you'll make me the happiest man alive and become my wife?" He asked.

I felt tears and my heart felt like it was about to burst from pounding so hard. "Of course I will." I said and hugged him after he put the small silver band on my finger. "I hope you like the ring." He whispered. "It's perfect." I said and kissed him.
