Chapter 17: Finally

Friday, July 28th

He waited for her to come by. This was going to be it. Make it or break it. He took a quick breath and then ran forwards. 

"Woah!" Alya said as she was pushed into a giant panther pen at the zoo. She looked around, and saw the person who pushed her. "Nino!" She growled. "Why'd you push me in here?! There's a panther!" Alya had come to the zoo because her sisters begged her too, and now, Alya was wishing she stayed home.

"No there isn't.." Nino couldn't help but smile. He threw a key to Alya's sisters (who were outside the door) then pulled It shut. 

"NiNOO.." Alya ran towards the locked doors. "What is this?!" She turned to face him, fury in her eyes.

"Well," Nino calmly began, "You first started liking me when we were trapped here during an akuma attack, so I called your sisters up, and we planned this out." He grabbed his backpack and was about to pull something out, when Alya interrupted.

"You're kidding, right?" Alya banged on the door. 

"Nope, I'm serious. I want you back, I made one mistake." Nino begged. "I'm sorry.

"Going back to an ex is like rereading a book, you already knows how it ends..." Alya muttered. Alya rolled her eyes and took out her phone to call someone. 

"Well, you shut the book before you even got close to the end, Als." Nino softly spoke, trying not to anger her anymore.

Alya groaned and clenched her fists. She put her phone away, no signal surprisingly. "What will it take to get me out of here?"

"That's the sprit, dudette. Well, I have a few things planned out, so once you fully agree to stay with me until the end of it, we can get out of here, and let the panther back in." Nino's eyes lit up with hope. This was going to work!

Nino walked over to the clear walls and waved at Ella and Etta. They giggled as they opened the door.  "Hi Alya...!" They laughed. 

"Just.Get.On with it." Alya frowned. Nino grabbed her hand and tried to walk her, but she took it away. 

"Fine." Nino's chin drooped. "Just follow. And you two, make sure she follows." He fist bumped Ella and Etta, who hooked arms with Alya.

Alya followed him over to a bench, where Max was waiting. 

"Hey Nino and Alya. Isn't today nice?" Max greeted.

"Sure, so why's Max here?" Alya turned to Nino.

"Look at his computer..." 

Alya sat next to Max and looked at the computer.

"One second.." Max muttered finding a flashdrive in his bag and plugging it in.

 The screen opened a new file. Max clicked on it. A tab opened up. A hundred of small camera screens opened up, each showed a different angle of Paris.

"What..What is this?" Alya scrolled down the screen, cameras shifting from the Eiffel Tower to the school.

"I may have got permission from the Mayor and police for you to gain access to the surveillance footage of all the streets in Paris for the Ladyblog. Surprise!" Nino smiled.

"Nino! This is amazing!" Alya gleamed back, Nino's face brighten after seeing hers.

Max took the flashdrive out and handed it to Alya. "I backed up the drive, and applied some "child-safety" things the police wanted, so you can only see the streets instead of inside of government buildings. Well, see you guys later." Max backed his backpack up and left.

"So..." Nino shifted awkwardly.

"Thank you." Alya said.  She looked back at her sisters, then back to Nino. "So what's next?" 

"Come." He took Ella's hand, who took Etta's, who took Alya's. The four walked on.
