Thea's P.O.V

"Let me go! No! Don't do that! Make it stop! Make it stop, Tanya- mom, papa."

I woke up and realized that it was all a dream. A bad dream and she's coming to get me, again. Just like everytime she hit me. Hard. Her dangling red curls to my face, and bulge red eyes staring angrily at me.

I once glanced at the bed and it's Patrick and Teresa, they were both sound asleep. I curled my body to Teresa and hugged her tight, she shifted her body and hugged me tighter. I wonder who will give me this kind of hug when I go to the foster home? Sadness defeated my body. AGAIN.

After how many hours, I felt the other side of their bed empty. So I stood up and followed.

I saw Jane, he was getting eggs, milk, flour, and a whisker.

"Good morning! Are you making pancakes?!" I greeted him happily.

"Good morning to you too kiddo. And yes, I am making pancakes."

I grabbed the chair to the nearby the sink and stood up in it. I was too small, too small to reach it. Patrick smiled at this.

"Can I help you?"

"Sure kiddo."

He cracked the eggs, I whisked it. He pour down the liquid ingredients and I whisked it again, he heated the pan and we poured the mixture.

It was frying when we were playing with it, I had some on my nose, he had the mixture in his hair. Oh yeah! We were a mess. We stopped when we smelled a very unpleasant scent.

Teresa's P.O.V

I woke up, and I was the only one in there and when I smelled something.

Burning, Jane. Thea. >sigh< What now?

"Patrick! It was supposed to be circle and not black." I heard Thea and her voice full of curiousity.

"I know, it burnend." dropping his tone at the last word.

Thea chuckled, "You're going to eat that."

"No, you will."

"No you."

"No you."

"I coming! I am the- the? Ummm?"

"You are?"

"The pancake monster! Arrggh!"

Thea chuckled loudly. I stepped out of the room by surprise, Patrick was holding the burnend pancake and Thea running at my back. He dropped the pancake and looked at me shockingly. It made me smirk but was washed off because my authoritativeness emerged.

"Good morning Green eyes." he kissed me at my cheeck.

"Good morning, and is that-?"

"Burnend pancake." he and Thea finished my sentence, thank you.

"Look at the two of you! You're covered with pancake mixture and-" I cutted off myself when I saw the kitchen.

"Patrick, Thea?"

"Yes?" they asked with a twinkle with their eyes.

"We will help you clean. Promise." Thea assured me.

"Yes green eyes, we will."

"Alright, come here sweetie." I wiped the mess on her face when Patrick came close and looked at me, he gave me that 'please-pity-me-look.' I smiled at him and the same, he buried his face on my chest, facing my cavity.

"You can do that later. I'm hungry." She pulled my shirt my down.

"Alright, heard that?"

Patrick nodded.

"If you're going to fry pancakes, you should..." Teresa lifted the bowl and poured the exact amount to fry and there came the perfect circle.

"Oh!"

"Oh" I said sarcastically.

"We never thought about that."

"Yes." We finised the rest and setted up the table.
