Lisbon's P.O.V
The unpleasant smell of blood is pinching your senses. As if though it want to get in your nerves, I walked farther in the house, the smell is entering my nose. I saw the walls covered in thick, red liquid and on the floor lay three cold bodies in the family room.
A woman, with red hair lay lifeless, a man with chocolate hair and eyes beside her, and a girl with their resemblance of her mother lay not far away from them. As the usual applies, Cho talking to the officers, I leaning towards the body, and Patrick Jane is nowhere to be seen.
"Good morning ma'am, my name is officer Dayton. I was the police that responded during the night of the crime. Happenend around 1:30 am." a skinny man, about 5 foot 5 talked to me with bright grey eyes.
"Good morning, who in specific are they?" I asked professionally. But at the same time, getting my notebook and pen as I will write down the important things.
"The woman was, Jenny or Jen Sunny, 36, housewife. The man is Timothy or Timmy Sunny, 37, an engieneer at the new company called SkyHigh Towers. And the girl is Tanya Sunny, aged nine." he finishes.
"What about the missing girl?" I asked curiously.
"Uh? Thea? Yeah! Thea Sunny, seven years of age, poor little girl. She was reported missing when we responded here, and says the neighboor that called us that she saw everything.
"Thank you." I said
"Cho, go talk to the neighbor that called the police and see if you can find any leads." I say as I grabbed my phone and Cho nodded.
"Lissbboooooooon! Come up stairs quickly if you're done." Jane exclaimend as I dial Van Pelt's number.
"Hey boss." she greeted happily, "Is that Jane screaming?" the beautiful Van Pelt on the other line.
"Hey Grace, yes it's Jane. Listen, I need you and Rigsby to run a background check for Timothy Sunny and Jenny Sunny and also contact the foster home where Thea Sunny will be placed or see if there are relatives who will take her."
"Got it boss. Ah, you might as check at Jane. We all know he cares for you so much." a giggle in her voice.
"Yeah right." she chuckled as I ended the line.
"What is it?!" I slight concern in my voice can be noticed and heared, as I ran upstairs.
"Come and take a look at these."
I softly glanced at each picture frame placed on the couple's room, and some on the wall. The pictures only contain, 3 of the family members, just Tanya, Timothy and Jenny.
"Come over here." Jane invited me to the second room across the master's bedroom.
It was a nice purple and pink room, with a flood of stuff toys in the bed room, but one of it stand out, there was a pink teddy bear wrapped on the purple sheets of the room. I glanced at it and saw only one eye at it, it was like ripped of.
"This is Thea." Jane said pointing at a adorable girl playing at their pool, and the bear sitting on the table.
"And here again," pointing at the other pictures that hang on the wall and placed, one was at the ocenarium, the other on the beach and the last was on the rain and playing. The stuffed bear in her hands.
"The teddy bear is with her all the time."
"Yes, very good Teresa." he said sarcastically.
I glared at him. But a conclusion came to my mind.
"Thea, loves the water and whenever she goes she always carry her stuffed bear."
"So that means she is here." he said smiling.
"Let's look around place." we walked away the room.
As we reached the ground floor, we searched all the rooms, but there was no sign of the girl.
"Lisbon, I know where she is." Jane said sang his statement.
I walked towards where he is. He was at a laundry room, not far away from the pool.
He knelt towards the washing machine, he was about to open it when he stared at me.
"You know, you're even more beautiful when you're nervous."
"I'm not." I lied to him and to myself but defending it at the same time.
"Suit yourself honey."
"Don't honey me, just open it."
