Chapter 2
Lyra’s Pov
By the time I stepped into the grounds of NimbasaCity a cool breeze passed by me as I breathe in the clean and fresh air of the entertainment city. It’s been 3 weeks and 4 days since I last left UndellaTown and flied all the way to Stration city using my Staraptor just so that I could get the Trio Badge.
As usual it wasn’t easy to get pass some areas such as passing through Route 4 which was like a HUGE desert! But all of it was worth it! As long as I get my badges all my work will be worth it!
Anyway, moving on, I can’t fight Elesa right now because I feel like my pokemon aren’t strong enough. But how do I strengthen my pokemon without leaving NimbasaCity? I thought hard when all of a sudden I noticed two girls talking. I used my sharp ears ability which allows me to hear from very far.
“Man, who knew that the battle subway could be so hard!” A blue haired girl complained
“Yeah, but it was worth it. That subway sure made my pokemon stronger” her brunette friend said.
My ears perked up when I heard the word stronger. I then dashed towards the two girls who stopped in shock.
“Hello there, do you mind telling me where I could find the battle subway?” I asked as the girls looked at me curiously
“Um, sure, the building is just over there” the blue haired girl said as she pointed at a somewhat black and white building or was it green and yellow. Don’t know, don’t care.
“Thank you very much!” I thanked as I dashed towards the subway.
By the time I entered the subway a huge wave of amazement struck me. There were trainers in every corner and they seemed to be very strong too! I then dashed downstairs and I noticed a green train. I swiftly dashed to the train and noticed the sign which said ‘Platform for Single Trains’. I then smiled as I headed downstairs.
There I saw an 18 year old red head wearing depot agent clothes.
‘Hm, maybe he works here’ I thought as I walked up to him and he looked at me with a smile.
“Hello, there. My name is Ralph Vinson, are you here to board the Single Trains?” Ralph asked.
“Um, hi, do you mind telling me about Single trains?” I asked curiously
“You see, there are two types of trains the Normal and the Super. In Single trains you are to pick only 3 pokemons to defeat all 7 battles, only 1 pokemon can hold an item, Items cannot be used by the way. All the pokemons you entered will have the strength of level 50 pokemons, the more battles won the harder the battles will get. Even with the strength of a level 50 pokemon the moves your pokemon knows will remain, legendary pokemon are not allowed, and if you defeat 21 trainers you will face a subway boss. Subway boss Emmet for double trains and Subway boss Ingo for single trains. If you defeat 21 trainers the line for super trains will be unlocked. After fighting 7 successive battles the trainer could choose to stay in Nimbasa city or change your pokemon for the next set not only that you will get BP points in which you can exchange with for items or moves. When your first pokemon faints in a Battle your 2nd choice will be switched out immediately. Do not worry for there is a system after each battle where it could heal your pokemon, record your battles and also if you want to quit. That is all” Ralph explained
