My Best Friend and I

We just got back in school after spring break. Mason and Hoochie are still together and I'm still lonely. I'm sitting in the Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness class room because I have nothing better to do. The other kids who are taking their servsafe exam for the second time are studying and will be for about a month before they take the exam. Since I passed it with the highest grade the first time we took it, I get to do absolutely nothing, poor masey poo had to retake it, he missed the passing grade of 75 by one question.

There is this guy in here I've been talking to for the past few days, we used to be really good friends my freshman year and I don't know what happened really, I guess we just drifted apart. His name is Kamryn. I always thought he was really attractive. He started showing attraction to me when I was in the Nutrition room for the first day.

They were making Cakes and he didnt know how to bake and none of the other kids in his group were there so I kinda assigned myself as his partner for the day. While we were waiting for the cake to bake we just stood in the kitchens and talked and had a good time just catching up. I was standing leaening up against the counter he stood up straight and grabbed my ass. I absolutely was not expecting anything like that but I couldn't help but smile. I guess it was out of my awkwardness but it wasn't something I liked. 

"Hey baby, I'm gonna go get some water, wanna come with?"

"Uh..... yeah sure, I guess."

So with that I went into the empty hall way and stood there awkardly while Kamryn drank water from the fountain. I stood there up against the wall not knowing what he wanted. He finished drinking water and walked up and got pretty close to me. He grabbed my hips and pulled me in closer and kissed me. He then parted his lips and brushed his tongue against my bottom lip. Part of me  wanted to push him away from me and tell him that I do in fact like someone, but instead I parted my lips too and the kiss only lasted about 20 seconds. 

We went back into the class room and I ran into the Culinary kitchen to tell Guadalupe. We started to get close when we came back from Christmas break. I told her what happened and she completely freaked out. She was so excited for me. I told her that he isn't the guy I liked though. I was after someone in specific. When she asked me I turned a violent shade of red and then whispered it in her ear.

"OMG!!!! SHUT UP!!!!!!!"

"Yeah, its him but he has a girlfriend."

"Who gives a fuck about her?"

"Him obviously...."

"Well who is it?"

"Her name is Annie, she's a freshman."

"Oh! Are you joking?! I saw her kissing some guy the other day and it wasn't him."

"okay Guada, I'll talk to you later about this. DM me on twitter later okay?"

Mason walked with me to the hill in the courtyard and there we sat with our friend Chris. I never mentioned Hoochie because he knows I don't like her so we never talk about her, not even at home. 

The rest of the day went by and all I thought about was her cheating on him. I texted Mason in theater even though we were in the same room. We were sitting on opposite sides of the room. I sent him a text and waited for him to open it and respond. My text said "Movie night tonight? ♡♡♡" 

I could tell he opened it just by seeing his face. He had a huge grin and then I saw him reply. I waited while I saw the bubble that notified me he was typing.

"YES. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ONE FOR FUCKING EVER."

"Okay awesome sauce. we can talk more in the car"

About 15 minutes later the bell rang and we walked out of class and got to the car. The drive home consisted of picking out a few movies to watch and then thinking about snacks we needed to pick up. We got to the house and Mason let me change and grab my wallet then we left for the store. We picked up some gummy bears, sour gummy worms, 3 canisters of different flavored pringles: Pizza, Original, and Salt and Vinegar. We got a small box of butter popcorn for him and kettle corn for me and  a 12 pack of cokes and then checked out and left. 

when we got back home we blew up an air mattress and put a couple blankets over it and got all the pillows in the house. We put in the first movie of the night and while we let the previews run we popped the popcorn and poured the contents of the bag into a bowl and brought all the food into the living room. We put the cokes in the fridge and let the movie play on the menu while we got into our pjs. I had to take off my make up too so Mason, of course, beat me down stairs. 

OKAY so. KISSING STORY. TRUE. Very awkward experience.
