When he shall die,

Maya felt like she was fading away, dissipating and losing her existence. She stared at Virat painfully. "Virat, what did he mean by who I was talking to? He always keeps on acting weird." She asked, after the long stoic and metastatic silence between them.

Virat shrugged coolly, "Don't worry about it, Maya." Maya simply nodded, giving him a smile in response.

They walked through the forested roads, Virat staring at Maya constantly. It made Maya flinch now. He was always around her. Always. "Virat, you know that I love you, don't you?"

take him and cut him out in little stars,

Virat simply gave her a nod. "I think we need a break. I need my space because everything in this relationship is rushing so soon, it's like I'm inhaling more than I can inhale."

"What do you mean by that babe?"

"I mean, uh - you should give me some space, Virat. Just for sometime, it will be good for both of us, don't you think?" Maya asked. She wondered how he always stayed with her. Didn't he have parents who worried about him like she had her mom?

"Alright." Virat stated, turning on his heels. The moment he's not facing Maya, a smirk made it's way on his lips, slightly diabolical, slightly arrogant. He knew Maya was his, no one else's. He also knew if he wasn't going to be around her, she might end up getting herself hurt like she always did.

So did Maya.

and he will make the face of heaven so fine

When he was walking away from her, she simply turned blank. There was no way ahead without him. For her, it has always been him or nothing. She couldn't even breathe properly without him, let alone live.

She ran towards him, and immediately wrapped her arms around - feeling the warmth of his body against hers. The smirk on Virat's face just widened and the moment he turned around, it turned into a heart-warming smile which Maya fell for. He was her Achilles' heel. She looked at him with her unwavering gaze and took a hold of her hand. "You promised you would never leave me. How could you? You know I'm crazy, don't you?" Maya asked with a pout, tears streaming down her face. Her gaze fell on the charcoal shaded road.

that all the world will be in love with the night

"You're not crazy; someone's turning you crazy, Maya." Virat told her, and Maya couldn't help but agree. She always did because she didn't have a mind of her own. "But don't you worry, I'll take care of it."

She knew it; he always did. She placed a chaste kiss on his lips, smiling sweetly as they walked towards her home. Under the vast expanse of the dark night sky, she could finally find her constant North star - her shiny crystal of hope.

Just that this one shined so much that it often blinded her from seeing the obvious.
