Chapter 16

Afterward, Lefou, as exhausted as he was, fell asleep in the tub, I pick him up and carry him to our bed. I set him down on the soft mattress and cover him with warm blankets. I however put on some trousers and walk out to the balcony feeling the cool wind surround me. I place my hands on the railing in front of me, and I start thinking about what just happened. The beautiful sounds he made, his soft skin, his red lips. 

"Bite me~"

My head shoots up, realizing what I've done. I run my hand through my hair, remembering what Agatha said, 'You can turn one other person to be just like you, all you have to do is draw blood by biting them or scratching them with your fingernails.'

What have I done to my dear Lefou? Sweet, kind Lefou. I start to pace back and forth. I have just turned my love and my best friend, into monster. I turn around to make sure Lefou is still safe in bed. I see the beautiful man sleeping so peacefully, his beautiful chest rising and falling slowly. How could I ever disturb that beauty with my beast-like feelings? To prevent me from waking up the sleeping man, I shove my hand in my mouth between my first finger and my thumb and bite down. I let out a small grunt and bite down harder, feeling my teeth get sharper and longer. I feel my teeth dig into my skin, I bite down harder. I keep biting until I can't bite anymore. 

I release my teeth from my hand and drawback. I taste my blood and feel it drip down my chin. The moonlight shines upon the castle allowing me to see my hand, I see the deep cuts of where my teeth bit into my skin. I expect it to be gushing with blood however I see the cuts start to shrink and heal. My heart starts to quicken as well as my breathing. I hear the balcony doors shut behind me, I turn around only to see Agatha once again. 

I hold up the hand I bit to her, "What did you do to me?"

"I saw Stanley attack you, and I figured that others may try to kill you as well. So I improved you a bit." 

"But-but you said-" She holds up her hand.

"I know what I said, however, it doesn't mean it's the truth."

"So you can change me back! You can change him back!" I take a step towards her.

"If I change you back how can you guarantee Lefou's safety?"

I take a step back from her and lean against the rails, "Can you change him back?" She shakes her head.

"I am sorry, but quite frankly Lefou wants to be this way."

I snap my head up to meet her eyes, "What do you mean, he wants to be this way?"

She smiles, "He didn't want you to go through this alone."

I look down smiling slightly. "Is there anything new?"

"Yes, a lot of things actually."

I look up at her and cross my arms across my chest.

"As you have seen yes, your teeth will grow sharp, your skin will go pale, but instead of your eyes growing darker they will instead turn a dark crimson." I nod indicating that I am listening. "Also you will heal faster, the only way you can die is if you end your own life. That goes for Lefou as well." 

"So, Lefou only has that?" I ask.

She nods and says, "Yes, and he has your old features. Darker eyes, pale skin, and sharp teeth. That is all"

"Thank you."

She nods. "I am surprised at you Gaston." She says. "I did not think you would actually kill for him."

"Of course. I would do anything to keep him from harm."

"I see," she says. She goes around me to stand by the edge of the balcony, "You'll have to protect him a lot more from now on."

"Wait, what?"

She smiles, "But I'll just have to wait and see what happens."

"What? What will happen?" 

"Something big is coming for you, I just have to wait and see what will happen to you." 

"What?"

She starts to laugh, then she climbs over the edge of the Balcony. I run over to the rail and look over, to see that she's gone. I hang my head down and run my fingers through my hair. 

"What the fuck just happened?"

This is when the story turns into the Dracula Untold part btw.
