We've been talking for so long that it was still bright out when we started. The beast must've seen this factor, he looked towards the glass doors that lead to the balcony.

"Oh, I did not realize what time it was. I'm so sorry to keep you this long." God, why is he so nice?

"No, no it's completely fine! It was my fault, I'm the one who was crying like a baby." I laugh a little to try to ease the blunt truth.

We sit in uncomfortable silence until it was broken by a soft knock at the door. I tell them to come in. The doors open to reveal Belle in a light blue dress, almost like the one she used to wear in the village.

"Dinner is ready, if you wanted to join that is." I nod my head, also seeing the Beast nod his as well.

"We would love to! Thank you, Belle." She smiles kindly and nods her head, then leaving the room.

The beast rises from the comfortable, golden chair and holds out his hand. I smile at him and place my hand in his as I stand up.

"Why thank you, kind sir!" I say mocking some of the people I've seen in the village.

"The pleasure was mine Monsieur Lefou!" He leans down lightly kissing the top of my hand. I smile and blush lightly.

We exit the East Wing suite, down the polished stairs, and into the Beautiful, dark mahogany dining room. We see only two places were set, we confusingly look towards Belle.

"I saw that you two were talking for a long time so I thought you should talk some more. However over dinner." She smiles proudly at her plan. The Beast and I look at each other in amusement, then direct our attention on Belle. We both nod our heads agreeing to Belle's unknown plan. The Beast doors on the far end in the table whilst I sit on the other.

We talk and joke after Belle left the dining room. We laugh after I say a joke about some of the people in the village.

"Lefou, how is it that you are so sad. Yet so happy?" He says with a fork in hand, it's like a small stick in his hand, it looks like he could snap it in two if he wanted to. I laugh a little, "It's quite simple really," he looks slightly puzzled.

"How so?" He says with full attention on me.

"That's who you see me as, a happy person. I'm not happy, well I wasn't. This morning I told Belle I was a Homosexual. It went really well, she accepted me. Then you came along, and made it even better." I say still picking at my food, trying not to overwhelm him.

"How so?" He says tilting his head to the side.

"You're a lot like him," I say looking up at him. "He was always so kind when it was just me and him. Nobody to interrupt us, no one to obsess over him, no Belle to distract him." The beast looks down at his plate.

"Um, Lefou. May I ask you a question?" He tries to avoid my gaze.

"Why yes, anything troubling you?" I ask, setting down the silverware.

"You told me that Gaston died but, you never told me how he died. You don't have to answer I'm sorry I shouldn't be asking this." He trails his clawed fingers through his Raven mane.

"Adam I presume told you he was cursed as a Beast as well, did he not?" He nods and looks up at me.

"Gaston tried to kill him, he wasn't himself. He went insane if you will. He wasn't Gaston, he was someone else, he wasn't my Gaston. After the villagers cleared the front area by the front doors, I stayed to try and convince Gaston to come home. However, I was too late. Adam told me the castle broke beneath his feet. Belle couldn't tell me directly what happened, she didn't have the heart." My eyes start to sting as familiar tears fill my eyes.

"Whilst everyone was celebrating the prince becoming human, Belle was leading me around the castle. She finds the spot where he fell, and she lets me find him for myself." Tears stream down my face in endless waves.

"I saw my Gaston. Broken. Bruised. His blood soaking in the grass."

I see him, I remember how I walked up to him, tears streaming down my face, a hand over my mouth. Letting out loud sobs. I fell to my knees next to him, my hands tremble, and shake as they slowly reach his face. His face was still perfect, untouched, with very few cuts. I placed my hands on his jaw, sobbing into his chest.

All I said to him was, 'It's all my fault, it's all my fault. I'm so sorry I did this to you Gaston.'

I kissed just above his pale, white eyes. 'I love you, Gaston.'

I was so lost in my own mind that I didn't realize that the beast was holding my hand. I stand up and was immediately pulled into an embrace.

"Let's get you to bed Lefou, it's been a long enough day for you." I nod, he pulls my arm leading me to my bedroom. I lie on the soft mattress, being surrounded by the warmth of the blankets over me. The Beast looks down at me, the lights of the candles dance upon his face making him slightly frightening. He turns to exit the room until I grab his arm. He turns around to look at me waiting for me to say something, "Please? Can you stay? Just until I fall asleep." I ask.

He nods his head and grabs one of the chairs in front of the fireplace and places it next to the bed. He sits down on the chair and holds my hand patiently waiting for me to fall asleep.

Before I know it my eyes fall closed, and I'm soon being swept into slumber.
