I stormed into the house letting the door slam against the wall. Maddison jumped in surprise a smile forming on her face. Her phone was on and in the message app in her left hand. My mood instantly soured even more. I threw my bookbag in the corner hastily and slammed the door shut. A frown etched itself on her face as I came towards her.

"Give me the phone" I growled reaching for it.

She pulled it back to her chest and looked at me incredulously. I reached for it again only for her to slap my hand away.

"Give. Me. The. Phone" I demanded holding my hand out.

"No" She answered sticking her tongue out at me.

I rumbled and grabbed her wrist forcing it towards me so I could grab the phone. She was quicker and grabbed it with her free hand.

I grabbed both of her forearms and yanked her forward. She yelped and fought against my grip. I heard her phone clang to the ground. Her eyes stared at me which were filled with fear as her body started to shake.

"Next time" I growled coming closer to her ear.

"Listen" I hissed.

I let her go and bent down to pick up the phone. I heard her whimper behind me as I stood back up.

I turned back to her tapping my foot as I clicked on the message app on her home screen.

Ace: yeah tomorrow at 2 fine?

I looked back at her seeing red. I can't believe she would do this to me. I took her from her god awful family and gave her times to remember, She didn't even have to pay for anything! I give her a place to live. I care for her, I settle her nightmares at night! I make her feel loved! She pays me back with this?!
