I sat there. No, really, I just sat there and tried my best to look away from Leo. After Virgo, his older brother left, we were left to ourselves and this awkward situation.
Is this how people feel during "the morning after"?
"Do you want anything to eat, drink?" He offered, breaking the silence. Maybe he felt just as awkward as I did, though it seemed nearly impossible right now.
"Sure, anything you have is fine." I looked up at him with a small smile. Big mistake.
He gulped nervously and ran to what I assumed was the kitchen. In his small apartment, I could easily see him move around from his bedroom.
Wait, his bedroom. As in--
I looked down and realized in utter horror that I'm still in his bed. No wonder it was so awkward, I'm taking up his space! I should leave, as in now.
Making up my mind, I jump off his bed and grimace at the feeling my dirty clothes gave me. I slept in his amazing bed in my gross clothes. What the hell is wrong with me?!
I took a deep breath before reaching my shoes and walking out, trying to not let him notice me leaving.
Just a few more steps--
"Nikki, what are you doing?" I heard behind me.
I stopped in my tracks. Of course he would be able to tell if I was leaving. It's a small apartment, for crying out loud!
I turned and accidentally bumped into him. I didn't know he was that close.
"I was just going to leave. I didn't want to be anymore of a nuisance to you, so yeah." I muttered the last part. He probably thinks I'm a horrible person, I'm sure. I can't help but feel that everything I do right now isn't ever going to satisfy him, and I just want to leave right now.
"You're definitely not a nuisance to me, Nikki." His husky voice sounded. "Come on, I'll make you something to eat before I take you home." He offered me his hand and I took it cautiously.
After a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and bacon, he took me to his car.
"And are you sure you don't want a shower?" He asked for the billionth time. During our meal, he would keep suggesting for me to take a shower.
"Is that your way of telling me I smell?" I joked. Though I probably do smell like a wet dog.
He laughed and shook his head while unlocking his car and holding the door open for me. "After you."
I smiled gratefully at him and sat down in the seat, watching him as he made his way to his side of the car and wondering how it would feel to have this kind of treatment from him everyday--Trey.
I have Trey. I don't need Leo!
But Leo, he has this thing about him---
Yeah, it's called being your teacher, dumbass.
"What are you thinking about?" He suddenly asked.
My eyes widened. Him, all my thoughts are him. I shook my head to rid these thoughts and tried to play it off. "Just practices coming up, that's all."
He smirked as if he didn't believe me. Who am I kidding? I wouldn't even believe me!
His grip tightened on the steering wheel as he pulled up to my house.
"If you ever need anything, call for me." He told me.
"Wait, I don't remember telling you my--"
"Just call me, okay? I put my number in your phone last night, you left it out." He cut me off. Well, okay. Definitely deleting your number, Mr. Stalker.
"Fine." I finally told him, getting out of his car and walking into my house. I didn't see his car out front so that means he won't be home until the evening, he's most likely at a bar somewhere.
I made my way up to my room, closing my door and sliding down it with a huge sigh.
Leo, why are you occupying my thoughts? You're my teacher, and I have a boyfriend whom I love very much.
Leo, who are you?

Leo
Leo drove off from Nikki's house a few minutes after he made sure that her scumbag of a father wasn't home. He'd be damned if he would let that man lay another finger on his mate.
That pup was still at his house, he could feel it as soon as he had his mate secure in his car. He sped back home, wanting to talk to the mutt that dared declare Nikki as his.
As soon as he pulled up, the boy came out from the brush surrounding his complex and glared at Leo.
How dare he.
Leo turned off the ignition and jumped out, slamming the door and grabbing the boy by his neck and throwing him to the ground.
"Who are you and why do you keep coming near her?" He questioned with a snarl.
The boy growled back and tried to throw Leo off of him, but the boy's actions further pissed off Leo. So, he picked him up off the ground and promptly threw him back down, making sure to pop a few bones in the boy's body.
The boy coughed and kept glaring at Leo.
"She's mine." The boy told him.
Leo could feel his wolf coming to surface. His wolf kept telling him to kill, kill, kill, and make sure this boy never got close to his mate ever again.
He threw the boy up and slammed him down again.
"See, that's where you're wrong, pup. She's not your mate, am I right?" The boy snarled at him. "Right. Meaning, she's not yours. But she does indeed belong to someone. I'm happy to tell you that someone, is yours truly." Leo smirked down at him. "So, if you want to keep living, I suggest you leave her alone and never go near her again, understood?" He snarled out.
The boy's glare never wavered. Once Leo let him up, the boy left him with one last thing.
"She may not be mine, yet. But she will be when I fully claim her." He smirked at Leo's shaking. He wasn't stupid, his wolf was in full control and he knew he should be careful. But he couldn't bring himself to care. Nikki was his.
"By the way, the name's Trey." The boy's smirk deepened as he suddenly disappeared from Leo's sight.
Leo's wolf howled for his mate. She was being threatened by not only a gang of werewolves, but also one that wanted her as a mate.
Mine. Leo thought as he shifted into his wolf and ran to Nikki's house to watch her. She could never be left alone, not until he fully claimed her and made her his.
But that could take awhile.
