Jennie dropped all the paper bags she carried onto the wooden floor before plopping onto her soft couch.

She let out a sigh remembering the event from when she was in the hospital, with "Mr. Nurse" or "That Guy I Like" since she didn't know what she would name him.

I had no clue on who he was.

But the back of her head— her heart even, was screaming that I do. I knew who he was.

Maybe I was at some place I shouldn't have been, and that's where I met him.

He could have been a one night stand who immediately left early in the morning, leaving her no clue on who or where he was.

Aish, that's bullshit Jennie.

Jennie clawed at the couch as she wondered out loud.

"Who are you?"

Why can't I remember you?

Jennie was so sure of herself that she actually knew that boy. The familiarity of his presence— it just felt so comforting to her. Too comforting.

The curiousity pained her chest, she didn't know what to do.

And that frustrated her, because she always does.

Jennie sat up and stared at her plain wall but as more scenarios played in her head, the more it ached and seemed so unrealistic.

She couldn't rely on her memories. Her memories were remnants of a broken whole— something she doesn't know what.

So she stood up and went over for her purse, grabbed the bottle of pills from the counter, took the glass of water next to it and drank.

Jennie felt better.

She felt okay.
