Jennie shivered as she felt herself having goosebumps as the wind blew harshly. It was almost winter in their area, she mentally reminded herself to wear two or more sweaters when leaving her house.

After getting her weekly pills from the hospital, Jennie felt her stomach grumbling. Remembering her empty fridge, she decided to pass by a supermarket.

Jimin unconciously found himself smiling as he stared at Jennie's figure leaning on the cart which was filled with perfectly arranged food, her chin on her palm, almost passing out when the cashier finally called her.

Shaking his head, he snapped out of his trance when his phone started vibrating.

Focus, Jimin.

"Jimin, where are you? You're supposed to shoot a dance video with Eunji today, right?" Jin asked all in one breath.

Jimin could just imagine his hyung's furrowed eyebrows and reddish face as he quickly said all those words. He just sighed. He completely forgot about it. He was completely distracted by Jennie.

Jimin ran back to the hospital, looking for his parked motorcycle and rushing to Jin's studio which, thankfully, wasn't too far from there.

"What the hell were you doing, Kid?"

Jin stood up, and just as he imagined, his hyung was all red. His right brow was perked up and his arms were crossed, a questioning look on his face.

Oh I was just out, giving my ex–girlfriend pills for her to forget me and later on stalking her. Thanks for asking.

"Nothing. I was just hanging by Hoseok's café I didn't notice the time. Mianhe."

Their practice started, Jimin asking Eunji to demonstrate her ideas for their dance. As she glided across the studio, Jimin just absentmindedly stared at her.

"Jiminie! Not like that. Move your leg higher. Like this—" Jennie carefully guided Jimin as he moved.

Jennie was helping Jimin on his dancing since he had an upcoming show alongside his friends and he knew that Jennie would be great help since she is a well-known dancer herself.

Jimin loved the concern and how focused Jennie was about assisting him throughout, though at times, she just really was getting on his nerves. What she says is too much.

She demands too much.

"Jiminie, I taught you this already!"

"You should be better than me after this."

"It's not like that, Min. Do it again!"

"You won't win if you don't do it perfectly."

It was just simple words. But the effect it had on him, damn it was complex. He felt like his heart was ripped out of his chest.

Jimin wasn't a robot. He's just human. He makes mistakes, tons of them. But it doesn't give her the excuse to be such a bitch about it. She's human, too.

"Jimin–ssi? Are you alright?" Eunji worriedly asks her partner as she shook both his shoulders.

Jimin tightly closed his eyes and nodded, a small smile on his face. "I am. Let's dance?"

He felt heartbroken as he danced. As he remembered everything she said to him, it still hurt.

He could never forget her words.

Though he wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. Jimin used it as a motivation— and with her voice constantly echoing in his mind— he made it. He became what he dreamed of. He became more than better.

He became the best.
