I was walking home from school on an evening dusk day.
Texting my sister who lived with us and was taking care of my cousin who came to stay for a while.
As I got to a stop sign I looked up at the sky. "....about to get night I should hurry."
As I was about to walk Jennifer called me (aka my sister for those of you who doesn't know)
I accepted the call and she screamed. "HELP" I rushed home in a hurry not stopping at any light. Nothing.
I kicked the door open and looked around. It was quiet. "Hello...?" My voice was echoing as I walked around. Nobody was in there. "Where are you?!.."
I yelled.
Nobody answered for a minute. Blood was on the floor almost leading to Jennifer's room. "Jen?" I asked "you here??"
Finally! Jennifer answered "Cas! Get in here!" I looked back from where I've came and walked slowly to her. "What's going on? Why is stuff like this?" I whispered. She covered my mouth as quick as she could. "Don't. Speak. Or make a noise. They are here."
I gripped her hand off my mouth and whispered again "who?"
She replied "them."
I looked at her confused and peered to the door.
Some man was standing in the kitchen holding a knife.
"Who in the fuck is he?" I asked her.
"We don't know." She sighed.
"What dO you mean we? It's just us in your room... I don't see anyone but us. Where's Ray?"
"He ran." She looked at me scared.
I looked up at her cautiously. Slowly walked out in the hall trying to reach for a weapon to use to get rid of that mysterious man in the kitchen. "HEY DUDE!! WHO ARE YOU?! AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE IN OUR HOME?!!" I yelled as high as I could so I get get his attention. While Jennifer was just being a cowered.
The man jerked away from his spot and started running towards the main door.
"WH- NUH!" I ran after him and grabbed a knife from the knife section of the kitchen
Threw the knife and it pinned him the the wall. "Tell me. Why are you here? What did you do to Ray!?"
"He isn't here." The man mumbled.
My eyes glared at him "tell me right now. I know you have him."
The man lifted his arm in surrender but wasn't necessarily a true one.
"He's in the basement."
I ran to the basement and looked around "Ray?" Leaving the man on the wall.
