Jasper stayed silent, all nine eyes bore into his face. No one dare move, Alice's furry radiated off her so hard it was basically visible.
"Jasper?" Edward asked, waiting for his reply. "Jasper, make your mind readable for me." He said, signing.
"There is nothing to read." Jasper snapped. "I do not know why she is looking for Renesmee."
"Nessie..." Bella started, taking advantage of the silence and Jacob walked over and hugged her.
"No, mom. I'm not scared for myself. I'm scared for you. I am scared for my family. I thought everything would be done by now. But we can never have peace." Renesmee replied, wise beyond her age.
"Maria? Well she could be the new Victoria?" Emmett smirked.
Everyone stared at Emmett, not knowing weather to laugh or maybe even consider it. Well someone thought it could be true.
"Maybe Emmett is right. She could be the new Victoria."
"Rose..." Carlisle muttered as Edward hissed and pulled Bella closer protectively.
"No seriously, its better than having her working with the Volturi!" She retorted defensively.
"Don't be stupid Rosalie!" Alice muttered. "Jasper, you know her! You stayed with her for ages before I met you" She started to feel uneasy. "Carlisle, we need to sort it out, teams?"
"Wait!" Renesmee shot across before anyone could say anything. "Victoria? The one who tried to kill mom? The red head?"
Edward nodded, he didn't like to think back to the many times someone had tried to kill his wife. Thing were suppose to be better now, nothing was meant to happen anymore. Why did everyone have some kind of problem with his family? Was it because everyone was intimidated? That their clan was so big? Was it because there was so many 'gifts' under one roof? Was it because their bestfriends were wolves? They had a half vampire half human in the family? They're bonds were exceptional, unbreakable?
What was everyone's problem?
"Will Nessie be alright?" Jacob spoke for the first time in a while, his arms around Renesmee.
"How many time!?!" Alice mutter getting angry. "She will be. I'm loosing concentration! Jasper! You know Maria! You have lived with her for so long, if she wants you, I will kill her slowly!" She growled really angry now, "like someone else" She covered that up with a cough.
Jasper frowned. Easing up a little bit. "Alice, I honestly didn't get to know her that well. I was more worried about what I had became and trying to survive. I was scared, Al. Honest."
"Japer. Don't lie to me." Alice snapped.
"Alice, I'm not lying to-" Jasper started.
"No Jasper. You are lying to me. So just leave it." She interrupted.
Carlisle looked at Alice and Jasper. Decided to stop their row. "Alice? You, Edward, Jacob, Rosalie and myself will take on Maria and Jasper, Anna, Esme, Bella, Renesmee and Emmett will fight the newborn vampires." I sat back down and took the paper again, scanning for any new information.
Everyone nodded in agreement. Alice looked at Jasper. She hated the fact of him being with Anna, she was angry and scared, worried and hurting.
Suddenly, Alice felt a jolt run through her body, eyes closed tight "Today, in the clearing, in 2 hours!" She yelled, "So much pain..." She came out of her vision in pain. "Nothing... changed... everything will be fine...but that was no normal vision... it hurt...My arm... I got bit... only venom...I'll be okay..." she said between gasps, holding her arm close to her chest.
"Alice, you're visions are progressing. We need to see someone about them soon." Carlisle mused. Then he swiftly moved from his place on the couch, taking Alice's hand and sitting her on the couch.
"Alice? Calm down. Speak slower and take us through exactly what you saw." He ordered, kneeling in front of her.
"I can't leave Renesmee." Jacob said is a strong voice that couldn't be changed
"You will" Edward said into her ear. He needed to make sure she was safe at all times. His life was tied to hers.
"I can fight" Renesmee said even when Jacob closed his eyes.
Bella smiled in spite of herself, she was even staying with Renesmee or Edward, preferably Edward. "I love you." She whispered in Edwards ear.
"As do I." He replied to her as if no one was there. He started running his fingers on her arm.
"Jacob, we need you to fight. Rosalie, would you like to stay with Renesmee?" Carlisle gave a half-hearted smile to her and concentrated on Alice once again.
"I-I.." Jacob started to shake a tiny bit, he wouldn't be able to see her, if she got hurt...
"Jake...calm down." Nessie said to him and then to everyone else she said "I'm older now. I can fight"
"Jacob. Calm down. She will stay safe." Carlisle said.
"Are you sure there is no other way?" Jacob stopped for a moment, "of course the pack will help...would that let me be with Renesmee?"
Nessie let Jacob rant and rave. She had given up paying attention and just stared out of the window, wishing she wasn't here. Anywhere but here.
